cool, thanks, i was starting to think i was updating too often....they are just so beautiful.....i mean 8 has got me by the short and curleys'......just drop dead gorgeous......reminds me of the first time i saw subs batgirl.....in very early flower, and was like whoa, shes hot as hell!......it has been a long time since i have been this excited about a plant, and i have never even seen her flower before!....sometimes you just know....you know?
Yeah I know what your saying. But sometimes its the ugly ones in veg that produce the best flowers in the end. But when you've been working with a strain long enough, its easy to tell how she will turn out. I think the part I like best is applying the subtle changes like topping or tying down and watching the plant react and grow based upon your small influence.its also amazing to see just how much this plant will take and she bounces back every time. You can never have too many pics especially with a perpetual, you got every stage of development to drool over.

i agree......did you see "the shake" on #62?....killer........yeah, i have seen homely plants grow beautiful buds, but it sure is cool when she is pretty all the way through!......you know? like she just has this glow to her...that just says..." i am awesomness"

yeah bro, if i grew bigger plants, i would have a veg room, but my t-5 cab works really well for me....i am also lacking in real good ventilation, so my t-5's help keep my heat levels down.....you know when you watch the nerd, and when sub is in the growrooms, you hear the intense air movement?......that makes me very envious over here! maybe someday....

yeah, definately.....you can put them right on top off the plants (3-4 in.) to keep them squat.....they work great for my scene.

Hey nugs what do you think about this, intstead of chopping the plant down to the bottom two nodes, i've left the main stem with fan leaves attached but took off all the nodes except the nodes on the bottom which will be the ones that are mainlined. The reason was I thought maybe by leaving these fan leaves it will help fuel the parts that were left at the bottom. What do you think?

very interesting concept, i think the only way to find out, is to do exactly that......do you happen to have a twin as a control? there in lies the problem as far as experimental bias is concerned....obviously impossible with seeds, but worth trying with identical clones......but yeah, lets see how she reacts....my intuition tells me that the non-growing material above the chosen node will be more of a burden than benifit to the supporting root mass....every square inch of cambium(inner bark) must be kept alive by the root mass even if there is no cell division taking place....by removing the extra material from the beginning, you are essentially tilting the ratio of root mass vs. plant material to support.....similar to removing understory, to focus the plants energy to it colas........we have all seen how a young plant that has a developed root mass reacts shortly after it is severly pruned .......it blasts off!

also, the way i understand how cannabis structure works in relation to its grow pattern, is each leaf is responsible for fueling (as a solar panel) the node it is attached to....i have used this theory in even-ing up two un-even leaders...by removing the corresponding leaf on the longer leader.....thus allowing the shorter one to catch up......it is just a little bonzai trick.....but with that being said.....the only way to see, is to do it, so props to you.

I do have an identical plant i can chop one and leave the other and see what happens.
My first thought was that it would be a burden to leave the top part but I started to think that It could possibly benefit the lower part of the plant somehow.

this is called "main-lining" brother....it is an step-daughter of bonzai.......it is about building stem structure to grow big self-supporting rock hard donkey-dicked colas.....some body was caught sleeeeeeeping...
