Good day Everyone.

I hope everyone is enjoying there grows as much as I do mine.

There is definitely a learning curve to these Mars lights.

Plants do grow quickly once everything is being met.

I started running the light at 50 about 24 inches above canopy , Photone app was reading low 400 ppfd.

But the growth rate was slow in comparison to the es300’s I was hanging .
So I turned it down to just over 40 and things seemed better.

Few days of this and growth was increasing but still not like before .

So last light I thought wtf back to 50 and raised light 4-5 inches and now finally a holy chit did they change .

So here they are , enjoying the fce6500 .

Ec .96 ph 6 then falling to 5.3 . Have been balancing back with ph up , but have just decided to use silic instead , about 1ml .

Enjoy .

Pimped out the fixture too.

FR - chocolate cover strawberries 16 mainline
FL - the top from the right , would like to top but still unsure.
RR - chocolate diesel 8 mainline
LT - chocolate diesel 16 mainline

Good morning Everyone.

Thank you for stopping in.

I have set the lighting to 12/12 last eve.

The plants have been growing some quicker than others.

Over the past few weeks I have had a ph dropping issue were I could loose .5 to 1 ph in a matter of hours.

I have been adding hydroguard and orca but it wasn’t until 5 days ago that it had stopped, after a pot inoculation.

So now with a solid ph that rises slowly as the ppm goes down it’s time to flower.

Ec is 1 (500ppm) with a 10-20 ppm drop per day .
I will be raising this 50 at a time until I find it stable like the ph .

So at this time 5.9 ph that goes to 6 as they eat.

The fce6500 runs at 75 at about 30 inches away but If I push harder there not in love.

Will see how the stretch goes I maybe I could use the intensity to slow them up.

Here are a few pics of the last vegged day for the girls.

Couple of fresh shots , only two days but it’s growing .

Stable ph then the slightest rise as the nutes slightly change .99 ec .

light is low 80’s without distress yet 32 inches away.

Sold on the waterfalls only.

While utilizing my drain pump with the added falls I felt the undercurrent was slowed.
So I doubled my pump size and flow and mixing rate is much better.

Enjoy

The start of day 6 flower.

I turned the light down a smiggjn, just over 75.

I still think a proper meter would be a nice addition, I have one in mind.

Stable ph that rises .1-.15 as the nutes go down from 1ec .

Offsetting the reduction with a dose twice in the past 6 days has worked till today , were 5 gallons was needed .

Topped up and juiced up to 1.07ec (535ppm)

Ph to 6
Botanicare kind and calmag
Orca mycorrhizae
Water temp 21.5

Thank you for having a look.

8 days completed .

I see some signs of stress again. Just on the strawberry diesel.

I have raised light again just a bit , maybe I should have left intensity as was 80, but I did reduce to 75.

The chocolate diesel is showing signs of a bulb

Nutes down 5 gallons.
Stable ph 6, ec down .02 ec (10 ppm)

Light stress , the bigger leaves seem to take it better.

Had a spoton delivery. Back to turning it up.

550 around the edges and 650 about canopy level in the middle.

Dli was only 16.5 yesterday after increasing, so a bit more and another 24hr test.

Running maybe 85%

Majority of canopy is 26 inches away with the rest popping higher here and there.

Dli reading was 28.1 .

Stable 1.07 ec, ph 6 , level falling .

Just the very tips of leaf with teeny bit of yellow.

lights running full..

Ec 1.14 falls with the nutrient level by .05ec with 5 gallons every 3 days .

550 ppfd and up to 750 ish .

Leaves don’t look stressed, but the inner works is a bit bright coloured .

Enjoy the weekend

Looks real good,a question. How many watts is she? Says 650 but I read somewhere 730 US watts. Not sure wtf that means isnt a watt a watt, lol.

Also can you disconnect a couple lights without issues?

I would think the same and to be honest , I thought 650 also , but looking at the driver I would now say 600 watts .

I do not have a kilowatt meter , just a ppfd to keep me in check.

Personally have just ran with them all on and just dimmed to an acceptable level .
