Yea dude, the clones are definitely rooted.. (I saw all but three with roots coming out the bottom of the rock wool before putting them into the mini - hempies). They are now a month old. Some are 34 days, and some are like anywhere from 30-25 days old; however the younger ones are the larger ones, I think I cut off the big bottom branches from megan and some from gunther because Megan looked like she was going to die in the hempy-and did.

All this to say - I am almost positive that they are all rooted, but don't know any way to check other than taking them out..and figure that would be counter-productive. what say you?

IF you can carefully pull them out when it is sorta dry it'll be easier to check. Not to wet but not to dry, mainly dry, lol. It's so the perlite stays sticky and isn't to heavy, so it wont tear up your root mass.. hopefully.

If they are 30 days old they needs some real food.

some are 30+ days, and the second batch are like 2 1/2 weeks.... BUT doesn't account for my seedlings looking sad as shit. shakaka

shit dude.. my seedlings are almost a month old. I think I put them in there on the 18th of Aug, (8/1 and maybe they popped like a few days after.. so they should be doing quite a bit better than they are dammit

300ppm, give them a sip. What is your TDS factor by the way? That is seriously important when I am suggesting dosage.

idk mane .. I just used the 4 and 7.1 like you told me for the pH, and then 1000ppm NaCl calibration solution for the ppm

not sure if u still have light issues, but i would highly recommend tearing out that tarp and putting up black and whie poly with a tarp zipper door on it....completely blocks out light dude. good luck

Now I kind of nig-rigged some panda together - I will probably tear it down and put up a properly sized deal to reduce the amount of light coming in.. BUT I feel it pertinent to mention that so far.. these bitches are growing like crazy now that they are getting their 12/12

Joz - and the other fictitious characters of my mind who enjoy this thread - I do believe I will juice them up to 700 today.. why not? I was reluctant to do this at first, because Gunthr's leaves are just straightening out now to look like a real friggin plant.. and maybe the ppms have been too high in the past. BUT, they are growing, and so many others seem to have ppms up towards 1000 by now.. so we (I) will see what happens

700ppm in the flower room? Go for it! Juice em! Get them to 1000 before the end of week 4 at least! Hell yeah dude, let's bump it. I've never had GH be so delicate on plants, I'm just so used to it being strong salty sauce, but apparently plants like more of it.

Dove hunting trip this weekend. going to water the hell out of my little clones and seedlings, and hope they will be ok. I come back Sunday night..we shall see

Okay, so I got back a few hours ago from a two day hunting excursion. Yes - thank you all for asking; I shot many many dove ....

Aaaanyways I went to check on my ladies, and they look pretty good! the clones and seedlings were being underfed I believe, because I juiced them ^prev journal entry^ right before I left for the hunt.
They were getting plain RO water, then I gave them;
1ml/1ml/1ml/1ml

it looks like the seedlings loved it! The clones look underfed too, so I will raise their juice tonight to maybe 250-300ppm. I think I will continue to give the seedlings the same 1-1-1-1 for another week or two. I am hoping that they will take off and catch up to the clones this way..

Other thoughts include; now that I have started all my clones and seedlings in hempies.. my bubbleponics unit looks like it is finally coming together... lol. AND the temp seems to be fine since root rot and algae have not continued to be a problem...STILL I think i will be able to get a bigger harvest out of these hempies.

Gunther still has tip-burn, but is starting to look a healthy shade of green - they also droop at night now (which is normal for some strains I read) then perk up when lights come on. Morpheus is not impressing anyone with anything. Just a weak fucking plant in my opinion, but maybe this little terd is just going to use all its energy for some super potent little nuggets. Prolly not.

Anyways, wtf is up with Gunthers leaves still curlin down burnt like that? he's always acting up.

***Also feel it is worth mentioning that the seedlings have new leaves emerging from the top for the first time since sprouting.. I guess they needed some food this entire time**

The clones and seedlings are really getting bushy - Today I fed them just RO water, didnt even pH it down, (laziness for the most part), but hempies are supposed to get alternating food and waterings..

Here are some pics of the clones - looking good for the most part. The last little three at the end look like shit, and I will cull them most likely since I have plenty of plants now! Pretty excited that my first batch of clones have made it! They all are alive, which I didn't expect, even though those three are shit.

Drop down that lamp nyukka. Don't worry about the leaf curl, I'm starting to think it is just a mutation. Which means if it gives good bud and doesn't have any mildew issues it will be a fantastic geurrilla plant for next ear.

All the hempies look much better after feeding properly, keep the increase of nutrients going and we will see how they do. I think experience is going to eventually teach you enough to be very successful if you keep with it. If things get to frustrating though, you can always buy premade soil mixes for different stages of growth/transplant. I think water development is having the most impact on your root health. I think brewing a simple ewc tea would do wonders for your roots.

Maybe if it isn't too expensive I'll ship you out everything you need to try it once besides the bucket and the air pump so you can try it out. I'll have to check my supplies if I have enough. I have these cool little 3oz bottles I can ship liquid samples in. Maybe I'll send you some super cool bloom booster too, like some BUD XL or Top Booster. I have a few other organic ones I would be afraid to mix with synthetics.

lol, no.. I didn't make a hat this time, but not a bad idea. You really think that tea would improve things eh? Well you probably know best.. as usual. I can't drop the HPS unfortunately.. all the panda and my 3x3 takes up too much room for me to be able to adjust it properly.. I CAN lower the t5's, but I am hoping I wont have to since they pulled out of the sheetrock awhile back and busted a bulb on my face - the sheetrock is kind of weak..

I will move some things around though and see if I can lower it... I wish you could see this 1st hand man, I am literally wiggling in and out of the closet.. cant believe how much shit I have put in there.

The tea is awesome man, I love making tea because I am in control of what is in it and can try new things and see how my plants respond. But they always respond well, I love it.

I forgot how old my seedlings are.. but will be treating them the same as my clones in like a week or two, since they seem to be doing pretty good.


Some of my clones are having browning/grey under leaves.. the lowest ones.
- The clones have been getting 250-300 ppm and then water the next feeding.
- The seedlings have been getting 150-250 ppm, and then water the next feeding.

Clones;


*Today the seedlings got 240ppm
*Today the clones got 350ppm
All nutes are always ph'd around 6.0, which I believe is the best for passive hydro mediums.

The girls in flower have been getting anywhere from 600-700ppm the past two weeks. I have been concerned about raising the ppm above 700 due to Gunthers leaf curl, HOWEVER > now there seems to be some slight yellowing around the top of Morpheus. Now.. if I have to keep one healthy and the other has to go.. Gunther has like 10 bud sites, and unfortunately, Morph has only 5, and they are all on the bottom 1/3rd of the plant, and will most likely yield diddly squat, even though they look to have better trichome production and prettier buds by FAR. Gunther exhibits little to no THC production so far, but has big, pretty, and skunky colas.

Turn up the heat on the sauce. It's a shame you can't have more plants in there. I'm very curious to see if your whacky plant will yield anything good. Sometimes they can be down right amazing, and other times they are as crappy as you might initially think by looking at the plant.
