Easy way to get the feel if its short of water or not is give them a little bit and wait a few hrs. If its just water then they will perk back up. I really think u need to invest in some nutes dude or talk to some of the dudes on here about compost teas and organics. Im the wrong one to ask if u persue organics but im sure there are tons of people that gwt excellent results with it.
Ffof will run your plants for at least 3 to 4 weeks of veg and id be suprised if u see any deficiencies unless u cause them yourself with ph issues. You are gonna use up most of the nutrients in your soil at that point and nutrients will be a necessity or you will develop a variety of problems that you dont want to be diagnosing as a new grower. Once you develop deficiencies, you will almost always over compensate for them which leads to even more problems.

Yeah all my water is aspirated outside prior to use - I also collect rain water when I can as well.
I'm pretty sure there's no deficiency in the plants...The soil they are in is fresh FFOF from the transplant I did 7 days ago. . . I don't see the point in adding nutes now - especially after replanting them in "hot" soil, that sounds like a recipe for nute burn...Obviously I'm no expert...but I am being as cautious as possible.

I'm setting up a system to collect rain water as well. I believe that's the best water for the plants.

i am a believer in making Organic Teas and using Organic nutes,, very little risk of burn or lock out using organics, which can be easier for those who want less effort for more success, it is harder to over compensate with organics as well, making it more beginner friendly,, or old guys like me love the easy breezy healthy grow that results,

oh and ya if you have not watered for 7 days there you go my friend,, they are just thirsty, when they kinda droop on the outside edges of the leafs they are thirsty,,
when they are over watered, not only can you pretty much just feel the "wetness" , but the whole leaf droops and the plant looks blah,, lol

Like tim said u got at least another 3 weeks of veg at least. Seedlings are slow. These are 2 week old clones that are about to get topped and LST tie downs to branch them out and they are no where near ready.
This gdp seedling is about a month old and its about the minimum size you would want for flowering imo. These are with no co2 in mother tent so if ur still doing co2 it may be faster
My clones will get vegged at least another month once they are in main room in a few days. Its occupied by previous crop drying.

such good looking plants man,,,
I know how much you (MrHush) need some bud, and switching now will get you some sooner,, but it will leave you with a dismal harvest wieght, with your big light and your tent space, if done well you should be able to harvest 12 to 16 ounces from your set up easy,, but it needs a really big base, a stem/stalk thats a good inch thick later,
after this harvest, maybe a good way to go for you would be a perpetual harvest setup,,, maybe using autos, and you bring them in on the right, and move them to the left, and harvest 2 plants every 2 weeks, constant supply and your lights stay on the veg cycle with autos,, something to consider if your needs are great?

the mom those came off of is massive lol. DHN platinum cookies. I have two little baby candylands and a blue widow that are only freshly sprouted. I have 4 gdps all the same size. I will be switching to sog after this next platinum cookie scrog. I had to build up an arsenol of mothers. Well to quote tim again lol you will be looking at a crappy harvest of maybe 1/2 oz per plant if even that if you flower in 10 days. You just topped so your growth is slowing down to snail speed while the plant recovers. Its now dividing its growth between two new shoots, its significantly slower. Gonna suggest u pick up a bottle of nitrozime (again lol) the stuff is great for stimulating growth. I think its like 7$ on amazon. The smallest bottle will last u quite a while(100ml) Its just for a foliar spray. Its like steroids for plants
I think you need to consider making a mother and using it for clones so u can flower as quick as you are wanting to. Clones will be significantly faster then you can just do a staggered perpetual harvest. You will always have fresh new bud. Autos would be a viable option as well like tim suggested however ive never liked how they came out personally. I hate having no control.

great ideas,, you got me thinking,, he has enough height in that tent to put in a plywood layer, and divide the tent into 2 partitions, put the plywood horazontal , so there is an upper and lower,, make the lower just a couple of feet,, put some T5 tubes in there, or some cfls for cheap, and have a mother, veg clone chamber below,, and a flower chamber up top, the flower chamber is always 12 12 flowering, and the clone chamber can be 18 6 or 24 constant light schedule,,, then your self supplying and always harvesting, with this method you dont need autos, and you can be perpetualThanks

edit: your same exahust fan, still does the whole tent, and everyting is contained in the tent,, i have seen this done well inside furnature and wardrobes,, I am friends with a guy here in oregon who does this type of thing,, he harvests 2 plante every 2 weeks,,

All that stuff is with fox farm nutes. They work wonderful for soil. I just switched over to advanced nutrients because im running 50/50 coco and perlite from now on and i dont want to be dealing with guessing on non coco specific nutes. Already had a calmag problem on those clones early on so i juat dont wanna deal wth creating a fresh feed schedule from scratch again tailored to coco. Just finished setting up an automated drip system because im tired of watering for an hour a night when they start drinking alot. You are going to learn alot from your mistakes and things that drove you crazy in your previous grows and you will learn how to simplify things and refine your processes.

You are just like me always trying to tweak everything lol. For the sake of simplicity id say gey s few cfl's and a t5 and stick it outside your tent so you dont have light leak issues. He looks like he has a bunch of space outside that tent
