Well I was wondering if I may have damaged the root system on the weak one during transplant. Shouldn't be any deficiency...they both have been in the same soil,conditions, watering, ect...

Anybody care to weigh in on this? The struggling plant is darker than the bushy one, too...
I went back thru your whole grow thread,, page by page, pic by pic,,,
questions
are these both the same strain,, the white widow?
what happened to the third plant that used to be in the pictures?

As i look closely, very closely at your picturs and your plants, I still see no issues wrong, the leaf color is great, I see no sign of insects, I see no def,
why do you they look differant, they are alive, they are like people one will do amazing the other one so so, i have seen grows with several plants on one is a runt,, same seeds same strain, but runts produce good buds too,
in my current grow I have one plant that is called Bruce Banner, it did the same thing your little one is doing, it hung its leaves a little lower than the others, sometimes looked thirsty when it wasnt, ( I even gave it water and not the others,, no change),
what does this mean,, it means to try an dnot be so overly cautious , it looks good really man it does,, what you will find later in the grow is once that runt gets its roots down deep in that container, and those plants Really Take off,, and they will really take off growing like 'weeds" later on, i bet you good money that the leafs on that plant will perk up and look like the stronger one does,
try and not go throwing extra things at the plants right now, that ffof is giving them all they need right now,,, if anything the little plant looks a little bit like its reactiing to the "hottness" of the ffof soil,, but nothing to big,,,
keep throwing us some pictures each day so we can watch the leafs with you,, and catch issues along the way,, but right now my vote is to just keep going, water regular ,, right now I am watering my 3 gallon containers every 3 days ,, it used to be 4 days,, they are using more water now
its ok to ad cal mag to your water ,, if you want,, if you really want to see what cal mag def looks like come over to my grow thread and look at the plants a couple of weeks ago,, they were suckin cal mag big time,, and my leafs were lime green in the middle out, they are not that way any more,,, but yours are nice and dark
I am on well water, are you on city water?
any ways I tossed some questions at you,, lets see what happens

First picture ,here is what some really bad cal mag def looks like,, this was my Sour Diesel ( first picture),,, ( this plant got pulled )
second pic is from a couple of weeks ago,, the Bruce Banner is in the Right Rear,, see how its hanging its leafs, compared to the others, but the color was always ok,, so I stuck with it,,
and in the third pic you can see the bruce banner is healthy as a horse now ( still the plant in the right rear of the picture)

Scrog! :clap::hump:

Dont forget if u see those leaves like that coupled with the plant having red stems all over it can usually confirm your diagnosis. Some plants have red stems based om genetics so that alone cant confirm deficiency.

check out the red stems and zebra strips on my stems,, lol,, ( pic 1)
and then look at the canopy,, wow healthy ( pic 2)
oh hey, i thought I should say HI,,
I know mine had that slight up curl in the leaf edges when cal mag started, I dont think he put any lime in his soil for cal mag,, but he is under a bulb and not cobs

@Tim Fox

These are not the same strain from the beginning...I had a newb mistake when I was germinating the white widows... I hate to even put this out there...but I torched em' with clonex... instead of digging down deep, putting the clonex in, covering the clonex, then dropping the bean... I just dropped the bean in with the clonex. Was really embarrassing when I figured it out...Like I chemically drown them. So...when the tent came I had already germinated 3 regular Blueberry seeds, ready to go...The third plant I pulled when transplanting to the 1 gallon pots. It was a runt and was pretty stunted...So i pulled it to examine the growth, look at the roots...ect. Was actually surprised at how big the roots on it were!

In terms of the plants... My concern is that the one on the LEFT has a deficiency because its growth is slower, the leaves on the bottom appear twisted and curled a bit, and the stems are puuurrrrple... I realize the phenotypes can vary seed to seed, but they looked the same until after the transplant... Maybe it is the soils "HOTNESS"...I can see that.... It could also be that the lagging plant may have trauma to the roots from the last transplant... (Its rootball came loose into the new pot and roots sorta fell into the new soil)...Also, when I topped that plant i accidentally took more off of that on then the other... lol I guess this one has been beaten up a bit...

I am on city water at the moment. Ph is 6.8 and I am watering every four days. As far as the color, the lagging one is darker...and the leaves aren't reaching to the light like the other...

*Breaking news* being patient has been the best thing it seems...I'm keeping everything condition-wise very regulated - and letting them do their thing. I see good new growth, and lagging plant is perking up...take a look:

And here's the lagging one. Last pic shows the curling of leaves and color. Second pic is lagging plants' new growth!!tmp_26853-20151208_170553-1014577037.jpg tmp_26853-20151208_170638842128166.jpg tmp_26853-20151208_170648501634896.jpg

I stunted the growth of my chocolope and one of my og kush plants by topping a little to early, but they are both keepers flowering very nicely now! Patience is key when it comes to growing! bongsmilie

tmp_10349-20151208_191756146568956.jpg 2015-12-08 19.23.18.jpg So True North seedbank sucks. Been waiting a month. Package still at sort facility in Chicago. Terrible. I got seeds from Amsterdam faster than this shit...Hell, Cropking came in 6 days and they are on the other side of Canada...ugh Called them... per True North I have to wait till I find our they are confiscated by checking the tracking or waiting to get the package sans contraband... Bullshit.

That being said...I have 4 bagseed from what is considered good quality bud for here...One was like a lemon skunk and the other seemed diesel...Gonna pop em and see what I get. Not intimidated anymore...actually gonna have fun with this...Made a DIY clone/seed starter for fun.

Looking good
They are BUSHY!! So...in terms of smart pots...does the amount of water I need to give change versus a standard pot? There is no drain for the water... so how do I ensure I don't overwater in these fancy things?

Typically ur water schedule will be 1/4 the size of the pot for fully developed roots. As for right now probably maybe 2-3 cups of water. Same as before u want to water around the outside of where roots already are to make them grow for water. Ur going to want to harden ur plants off by letting the medium dry sufficiently. That will make it so the roots grow instead of the plant just accessing whats right there at the roots.

Sounds good. I'm still amazed how squat these plants are... nodes are stacked...

Get that nitrozime? That will make new shoot growth even better. Believe it or not that squat is no always so hreat. Results in alot of unusable buds at the bottom that dont get light. Ull end up cutting them off during flower
