My First Grow and Journal

Man things are looking great!! looks like you will have a ton of budage!!

The new mothering room is finished, or damn near... They have been mothering/re-vegging for 3.5 weeks now and will be getting clones taken from them this weekend. The new room is made out of large canvases i had around and styrofoam I bought. The inside is lined with mylar- and I plan to seal all light out of it by tonight or tomorrow. As of right now if you notice the top there is a small segment missing (notice that segment in the foreground of the second picture).

The flowering room got some minor tweaks made to it as well to make it lightproof- or more so than it was, it still leaks a small amount of light, but that shouldnt matter much as the veg room because when the flower room is on the veg room is also on. More important the veg room which is on 18 hrs a day doesnt disturb the flower room.

Gonna raise the CFLS and smaller plants up in the flower room to match those 2 giant plants...

Heres just a couple of pics from the exterior of the room, just to show off my set up- i know its mickey moused from the outside, but thats the point, i dont need a stealth box its my basement and i live alone- and this was cheap and very effective, and even better mobile- i can set up in almost any wall of the house if i choose, this one near the furnace keeps my temps very nice in the basement.

Pic one= mothering rooms exterior- lined with mylar on three sides- the foam sides, and a mirror placed against the wall part- very reflective.

Pic two= both rooms, the flowering room on the right, and the vegging room on the left.

More pics to come within 24 hrs for sure... Interior shots of the mothering room, the 2 bushy ladies... and the flowering rooms new partially raised floor.

Finally got photos of the mothers, they haven't been photoed in 3.5 weeks, they are Terry and Heather from the original photo session. They will be cloned a week. They need more lighting, I know- I only have 2 four foot FL's hanging over them- I need to get the CFL side lighting in soon, or even an MH ballast that would be even better to be honest.

Also raised up 4 of the plants- to make the canopy even, now all plants are exactly 18'' under the HPS and the cannopy is quite impressive when your face is in it. Even raised the CFL's up and they are still giving great side lighting to the two tallest girls off to the left front corner and right rear corner in the photo.

The plants and CFL's were raised onto 5 gallon buckets-

sorry bro,no journal yet....maybe soon...working on a perpetual harvest idea...still got some things I am working on...matter of fact,I should be potting some babies right now...lol...I do have a good idea for a side light though,let me get one built and I will drop you some pics....Great looking plants by the way

I have considered it B. Thc- and now that their are lots of pics of the rooms, maybe you could give me some ideas as to how it would fit in their like that, their isnt a lot of space between the plants- at least not enough to hang a bulb and keep the plants 18 inches away...

If U See In My Pics, The Light Spears Into The Center Of The Room, And Then The Surround It! I Run A Cool Deluxe Hps 1000w And Keep Mine About 18 Inches Away,,, Adjust Hieght So The 360 Explosing Of The Bulb Hits What I Feel Is More Of The Plant... Realy There Is No Under Ling Shaded Lower Braches... So Maybe It Will, But If Space Is Out Then Saftey Is First. Db.!

yeah and the side lighting is helping deep down under the canopy, it has made a visible difference- those buds are growing just like the cola is.

Thanks tho, and I have seen someone doing the vertical lighting, and i agree it is very efficient, but my set up wouldn't fit it...

your plants are looking damn good ob cron. keep it up man as ill stay posted to this j. i wish i could have started giving my plants beasti blooms alot earlier then now at the end of week 5! i feel like my buds could be alot fatter right now, oh well theres always my next grow and so on. the cheese grow is my 1st grow. keep up the solid growing.

No I will be buying Greenhouse seeds Cheese, wasnt that the one that won the 06 cup in the indica division... and its cheaper... I am gonna buy the fem 5 pack

actually big buddha is the originator of the strain but greenhouse is a good company!! great coffee shops... arjan haze is some fantastic stuff... I think that big buddha actually won with its cheese in the indica. but im not sure to be honest. but ya cant go wrong with any of the choices imo.

Huh, gypsy and dr.chronic have the greenhouse seed co. cheese as the 2006 cup winner... I am all confused now...
