I've been reading up on the beautiful plant, Marijuana... Just gotta keep learning and learning...

Decided to start keeping a paper journal in addition to this online journal.

Exact exerpt:

March 19, 2008 6:00 PM DAY 31

Tested pH to be 5.8 it's been there since last res. change on 3/12
TDS is at (660X2) 1320
Light on at 6:45 PM
Water on at 6:40 PM
Light with in 12" of tops
78 degrees at 7 PM RT (Relative Temperature)
83.7 degrees at 8 PM RT (Relative Temperature)
77 degrees res. temperature

Clone doing fine. Placed 3 sprouted bad seeds under humidity dome. Found 5 seeds in a purple reggie bud. Germinated immediatly.

With 3 sprouts showing I transplanted 2 into the red cups seen here. I used all the soil less mix I had left :-|

and added drainage holes in both cups. I thouroughly wet the soil less mix using *tap water*

spew

and a drop of super thrive for that B1 shot... I have no clue why I am doing all this work... lol just my hobby! :hump:

Oh, there's some smoke I got today from my homie MAK. A small solid purple bud is where I got 5 seeds from...

Hang 1000 and 600-watt bulbs 24-36 inches above plants, 400-watt bulbs 18-24 inches and smaller HIDs 6-12 inches above garden canopy.

your light is to far away. you plant looks good man but you will get airy ass buds. My light is around 8-14 inches away and i notice a big difference in density from my first grow. Try and move your light to around 15 inches away. Just use a good fan to keep temperatures down to normal.

ahh, everyone can learn a lesson from you on how to respond. You actually responded with a really good additude. I am not being sarcastic. Most people on here will critisize someone for saying something that was already mentioned. They are usually very insulting and kinda a prick. I got to say dude good to have you on the site and i will be following your grow. Best of luck man i hope everything works outs for you. Feel free to check out my second grow, got pure power plant that has turned purple and some snow white.

And about me on here... I am just me. I know how rude some of these dude can be... and they can do that. But I'm here for showin off my grow and to make some 'BUDS' (LOL!) along the way!

Nobody... I read a national geographic (my Great-Grandpa had a life-time subscription) featuring parts of Vancouver... I thought it was BEAUTIFUL to say the LEAST! It's just kind of a dream getaway you could say..

Today, I got some Bloom nutrients from Advanced Nutrients. Since I had none at all for a while now....

I am using the 'Big Bud', 'Hammerhead' 'Base' and 'Bloom' nutrients...

Added 32 tsp. to rez. Bought 5 gallons of water, added 1 gallon of water to rez.

pH fell to 5.1, Added 2 oz. pH up to get about 5.7-5.8

I think it's not correct, but I got a reading of (550X2) 1100 ppm of my Hannah TDS meter..

Got a digital Thermometer/Hydrometer

My clone FINALLY took root!!!! MY second attempt at cloning, and it only took 10 days!
So, I transplanted it into a party cup with drain holes, top soil, and a drop of superthrive. it's under 24 hrs. of light.

I call it 'IT' cuz I didn't get a chance to sex it.

I also have 3 sprouts transplanted into the same top soil mixture.. ...

Placed all other germinated seeds into peat pellets... 3 of them reggie purp seeds cracked... :mrgreen:

LET ME KNOW GUYS!!!

man your plant looks so much like one i grew last summer. i am thinking about ordering some advanced nutes too or fox farms, cant decide though. cant decide if i am gonna use organic or not either. good growing holmes.

THX, MK!! I have only used Botanicare nutrients (came with my system) but now am switching over Advanced Nutrients... you visit their site and all the studying they do just HAS to add up, you know?? But whatever... As long as it don't make things worse i guess

Temperature: 79.3 degrees

humidity: 40%

ppm: (725X2) 1450 (This time I used drinking water with a ppm of 14. The previous tests were with tap water, which I found to have a ppm of anywhere from 70-200)

pH: 5.7-5.8 (was at 5.4, added pH up)

I put about 12 more random bag seeds in their peat pellets and one more purp reggie... from the pics below, I feel I have too much on my plate lol... a bit overwhelming for myself. In the cabinet with my clone, and now 4 sprouts, it's about 35-40% humidity... and a very high temp of about 85-95 degrees....

I have a tray and humidity dome that I house numerous peat pellets. All waiting foe sprouts to show. Approx 20 peat pellest and a ziplock containing even more seeds that are germinating... lol basically all the seeds I could find are in the process of sprouting.. :mrgreen:

I am waiting to get a temp/humidity reading in the humidity dome... it's at 88.1/64% with the temp falling, and humidity rising. 85.6/80% half hour later... I keep it ontop of my monitor after finding this tip, and will never germinate them any other way. Paper towel method, humidity dome, and the temp from the monitor makes seeds happy!

In the 5th pic, what's up with the leaves? Still got that potassium shit... and I am using stuff to take it away.. :cry:

The 8th pic is from the cabinet... too hot!!

The 10th pic is from under that humidity dome... temp a bit high, but ok..

Well, bad news... SOMEHOW

confused

my only succussful clone flowered under 24 hrs of light and came to be a MALE!!!

So, I culled him.. pics below... how do my first clone roots look?? Pretty good I think... :hump:

I scraped the stem using the scarification method and you can see it in the 3rd pic..

Last night I was fuckin with trying to cool the flowering mother... You can see in the 5th pic that I had my new digi thermometer/hydrometer hanging at canopy level right under the lamp.

DUDE, the fuckin temp rose all the way to 99.7 degrees!!!

So I moved my only fan to blow directly on the lamp. This lowered the temp 5 degrees. The temp at the stem of the plant is 78.... Now I have no fan blowing on the plant...

Anyway more updates in about 5 1/2 hours

Well, I added 2 gallons to the rez, with the base, bloom, hammerhead, and big bud nutrients.

Fan has been on the bulb since last night.
Temp fell to 78.8 at night time and high humidty 49%
ppm: (800X2) 1600
pH: 5.8 (added all the pH up I had. It fell to 5.4 after water and nutes)
