My sister, her substance abuse and legal problems, any suggestions/advice?

Do you think if it was forced it would work? Wouldn't she just go through the steps to get it over with then relapse back into her previous lifestyle if she didn't actually want to do it, inside?

its all dependant on your sisters personality of which to choose which path of help is best suited for her, some people do great being kicked out and living on the street, gives em a realization of life. where as some do good in rehab and others in jail.

nobody here is going to give advice that is best suited for her, you should seek professional help and not leave family issues up to the likes of the people on the internet.
