Im not one bit religious, but the 'shoulders of giants' ALL were.
Your beliefs are based on these peoples beliefs, not one of them have you even attempted to falsify, ever.

You would spout Eratostheness name, yet there is no physical proof of his existance. You believe spurious calculations that you cant even read, in people you have never met or even read the work of..

I think you are severely deluded, have a big ego and display the same naivety as a bible thumper.
Where do you live?

For every time ive said it, i'll say it a fucking again. I cant prove my beliefs, neither can any one here.
We are all party to secondhand information and hearsay evidence.

Stop acting like you are in a better position, factually, or even logically than me.

Arguments to authority is all any of you have produced, in the 4 or so years, not one of you understand your own limitations...

Understand bigotry, then deny you are displaying it.
It is proven that the earth is a sphere.

Well, there aren't a lot of countries that do this to their 'friends'

The interview with John Perkins, author of 'Confessions of an Economic Hitman' is great stuff, Lee Camp's ten minute rant afterwards is a bit tedious.

Oh for fuck's sake!

This man is a frothing conspiracy theorist, a vainglorious peddler of nonsense, and yet his book, "Confessions of an Economic Hit Man," is a runaway bestseller.

But his account of international finance is itself largely a dream. Even if you believe the stories of seducers and assassins, which other journalists have questioned, Perkins's basic contentions are flat wrong.

In fact, at one point I even found myself wondering whether Perkins's confessions are concoctions intended to divert us from the truth, whatever that may be.

So let's hear your explanations for how all these nations either took out loans and walked wide eyed into crippling debt vassalage- or were overthrown and their replacements did?

Again, you attack the source but not the content. John Perkins' story is verifiable and far from 'news', what he corroborates with first hand experience is well known.

Maybe you don't know what you don't know. If, when confronted with evidence of the truth, you choose to jam your head in the sand- well, that doesn't make it any less true.

Keep in mind I have a few retired and currently serving State Department officers in my family. They have told me his story is true, and if anything understates the case.

This is who we are as a country now, and the rest of the world isn't fooled. The only question left is whether you're cool with having all this blood on our hands.

I know I'm not.

Speak for yourself, you pillock. Some of us here actually have a real education, and have been through college and/or university where many of us have conducted real studies, and real experiments. Not to mention, have gone on to professional careers where we have applied said knowledge in real-world applications. Many of us have observed scientific phenomena first-hand. Just because you haven't done anything in life but sit in a classroom absorbing "hearsay", doesn't mean that applies to everyone.

If you think “everything is hearsay”, then you MUST still be in high school. It's that simple. No grown adult I've ever met actually thinks this crap.

Not to worry, you’ll be out of the classroom soon and then you will quickly realize just how wrong you are.

Actually, i take that back. With your IQ, you're SURE to fail high school.

Do yourself a favor. Buy a telescope. Other planets are clearly curved. You can see this with your own eyes - a powerful enough telescope isn't all that expensive. Then, come back here and tell us about what you see. Is it just an optical illusion projected in the sky by the government?

"Hearsay" ... HAHAHAHAHAHAHA. Priceless.

Below is the NAMI Helpline for people suffering from mental illness - I would recommend giving them a call because you're clearly delusional.

Texas has a severe problem with retardation. It's the air or the water or genetics maybe all of them but something is definitely wrong with Texas.
The problem with Texas has a lot to do circular confirmation bias and a mutually reinforced belief in 'exceptionalism'. This attitude is strongly reflected in the belief structures of right wing activist 'conservatives' all across this country.

'Walker, Texas Ranger' is the obvious reference- right down to the badge on his denim shirt, genius.

You and the fear and loathing welfare sponge are free to explore the fantasies of your tattered little minds all you want, the rest of us will be here in reality when you two juveniles are ready to join us again.

You're a BernieBot and you really want to talk about circular conformation bias?

I told you idiots before the election about your echo chamber nonsense views and was dismissed outright, hence the devolution to simply laughing at your lack of dates or calling you retarded.

I'm glad you've completely missed the significance of Bernie's candidacy.
