Vallejo police officer who shot and killed Sean Monterrosa ID'd, report says
Tonn fatally shot Monterrosa while responding to a call of a looting at a Walgreens early Tuesday. Vallejo police initially said Monterrosa had a firearm in the waistband of his pants, but the item turned out to be a hammer. Police said Monterrosa was on his knees with his arms above his waist when an officer shot five times from behind a police windshield, hitting him once.

Through the windshield though? Didn’t even get out of the car. They are worse than gangsters. Some gangs even have a rule that you have to put two feet on the ground. No drive by bullshit. Trump incited this. “When the looting starts, the shooting starts”.

You know I adore you, but c'mon really; a riot? "While there were no deaths, 97 officers and 39 arrestees were injured, and at least 40 shops were vandalised, constituting at least C$750,000 worth of damage ". You should see the yearly total at just about any one of our Jr Highschools ;)
it was a quiet riot, but you could feel the noise.

I don't think you'll get a cop job if you are educated. I think it is a straight fail on the application.
you actually nailed a huge portion of the problem with police. i have been saying this for years. the lack of education as a requirement is gross negligence. how can you uphold the constitution and be in charge of enforcing and not violating it when you have not even had a college level government, political science class or even a humanities elective in your life. add to that most are ex-military right out of HS. cops even refer to citizens as civilians as if they are stll in the military. not even homocide detectives are required to have a 4 year degree and they should be more aware of the nuances of the constitution than anyone not completely ignorant of it. this lack of education and constant indoctorinization from the goverment via military and police training has created class warfare the likes of which cannot be fathomed. the cops are the foot soldiers for the elite in power and the military war machine. and like all foot soldiers they are trained to not be free thinkers and to follow orders and not question things. this is why there is no education requirement. we cannot have cops out there thinking for themselves like a free citizen now can we?

could you imagine a chemical company hiring a chemist who has no chmistry degree and then he kills someone in a chemical accident. it would be negligence right? so t me putting these ignorant men in blue on our streets to police us makes them negligent when they kill someone

Prosecutors: 2 Buffalo officers charged with assault for pushing 75-year-old protester

Associated Press
BUFFALO, N.Y. - Two Buffalo police officers were charged with assault Saturday, prosecutors said, after a video showed them shoving a protester in recent demonstrations over the death of George Floyd in Minnesota.
Both pleaded not guilty to second-degree assault.

The officers had been suspended without pay Friday after a TV crew captured the confrontation the night before near the end of protests.
The footage shows a man identified as Martin Gugino approaching a line of helmeted officers holding batons as they clear demonstrators from Niagara Square around the time of an 8 p.m. curfew.

Two officers push Gugino backward, and he hits his head on the pavement. Blood spills as officers walk past. One officer leans down to check on the injured man before another officer urges the colleague to keep walking.
Dozens of police officers stepped down from the department’s crowd control unit Friday, in response to their fellow officers’ suspensions

i had applied for work with the police and fire dept on the same day.
took and passed the tests and had interviews for both jobs. to me it really didnt matter which, just wanted a stable civil service job with a retirement.

the fire dept called first and thats were i went. acouple of months or so later the PD called for me .......i stayed with the fire dept.

i can only image what a badge, gun, stick and pepper spray would have done to my ego.

a pricks, prick i bet

times are changing for the cops , people have had enough of there bias and abuse of power.
