Yup did it just like that but didn't use a nice clear jar so the "line of salinization" was not very clear I just guesstimated...thanks for the tip for the next time I need to do this...99% ISO is not easy to find around here & I'm not paying shipping

I can not get 99 % any where around me period, I've talked to every medical supply and apparently you have to have a license to have it here......that being said. I use 91% all week long for every run I do, and have seen no difference from the 99% I used to be able to get.

To elaborate on nail temps..

On a cold nail..depending on your torch efficiency.

I count to about 18-20 seconds...
I've found that the Bonjour Creme Brullé torch to be my favorite torch.

I've spent 40$ on the” fancy” torches that I gotta refill every other day.. The performance is flawless on the Bonjour also...

The 40$ torches... Fucking sputter, do not shut off when the trigger is released...just poor quality..

I got my Bonjour for 25$ at Bed Bath & Beyond with 20% discount... Costs about 38$ without coupon..

If you are not happy with your current torch, go to BB& B...

PS.. Gots all kind of dishes there, stainless steel turkey basters that can be used as a tube for blasting...for 6$!!

The tubes can also be cut down with a saw, to be customized..
At 6$..the tube will fit 30 grams easy..
Then you can cut one in half for a smaller tube..

^ the tube idea is for peeps on a budget....glass for the win though...

Really its like a 1.18 or 1.28 per pint I can't remember. Every Randall's has it, its the generic "Safeway" brand, for some reason its actually cheaper than the 91 or 70%..I just buy a gallon at a time, sorry.... that was misleading

Well, 20 oz of 91% iso is 2 oz of water. I don't know how much salt it takes to absorb 2 oz of water.

Fuck god. BHO is cleaner, stronger, and yields better. Your headline is imaginary. People have been using butane lighters since 1960 and there have been no wide spread health consequences associated with it.

Aw man I'm gonna throw out this piece of shit domeless nail...what a waste of $30! This turd keeps sucking up my dabs down into the bottom stem of my bong! Ordered a regular Ti nail,glass dome, & ash catcher... Cheap cheap on ebay...hey wtf are people really paying $300+ for a fuckin pipe!!! Saw way too many way too highly priced glass pieces out there..I'm all for quality and I understand it takes a lot if time & effort to blow high end glass but most of the stuff out there is mass produced crap....anyone agree?

I'm in the same boat so I've never even tried 91%. Is it just a longer evap time? I thought that 8% was full of bad shit? I think I may try a qwiso run tomorrow if it's no big deal to use 91%.... hate not having access to pure alcohol in my state!

That other 8% is just water. It will evap out just like the rest.

Today I experimented with honey oil...thats what I ended up with... mufuggin cotton candy honey oil, bitches. I have seen pictures of qwiso online that looked absolutely gross which is why I never bothered but this shit is delicious sweet honey goodness. If I roll it in my fingers between parchment I can form it into a worm and vape it in my pen which works schweet and lasts so long I couldnt even finish it.. never did try it in my arizer vaporizor yet tho. For a comparison I cut a thin slice of my bubble hash to put on top of some bud and packed up another pipe with bud crowned with a gob of sticky errl all the same CC strain. Tasted almost the same to me but no question the oil is more potent; but I still like them both. I managed to get some good dabs from my domeless nail but I still don't like it and dont recommend it. So after a couple of dabs of and then I was was going top do one more but then realized like a half hour went by and I didnt really need it but then went ahead and did it anyway but then the nail was cold so while heating it up I realized the big dealz...

The big dealz with BHO, ISO, and any other type of extraction is simply to get some concentrate to enjoy. Just like that commercial...its your honey; use it how you need it! That is however you make concentrate who gives a fuck what anybody else thinks & just smoke that shit, be stoned & go do something creative like paint a fucking masterpiece or something. I can attest that qwiso done right can make honey oil that looks just like photos of BHO. Like I said earlier in the thread all this is new to me I never even heard of honey oil until a few months ago & read about it here. Below are pics of honey all chopped into bits. I was thinking it would help harden it up and be easier to handle but the chunks are still all gooey & stuck to each other; it is what it is- taffy-like shatter. You can see the gold shatter on the right.

Good to know, I been blasting bho for so long I never really look at any other methods. I have only glanced over them, after reading this thread I'm really interested in the aroma aspect of qwiso. I just put a ounce of chopped up bubba in the freezer

I don't mind spending a few bucks to get quality but the really good stuff is outrageous...I'll settle for a $40 chinese oil rig for now. the wife is just gonna smash it in my face when she figures out I bought another new glass piece anyway
