I do get white bits in my water sometimes also. I think it has to do with the nutes not dissolving. check me, but I could be wrong.

Matter of fact, I didn't know jack sh$% until I got on this website and started surfing. I even went to other sites and they suck...love it here and love the knowledge. They are 5 gallon buckets and lids. I bought them at Wal-Mart. The net pots can be found at any hydro store or anywhere online. Thebigtomato.com is where I get a ton of stuff like nutes, aripumps, airstones....Good
