In many cultures it's not unusual for girls of 14-15 to give birth. My mother became pregnant with me at 17. I am now a fully productive member of this nation who has not only served but has contributed financially to bettering this nation.

Yes but that was back when teen moms actually took care of their kids. These days they don't do so well at it. They neglect them, beat them, hell sometimes they kill them.

Not to mention that small problem of overpopulation we've got going on these days.

WTF are you talking about? She is pushing abstinence over sex education and her daughter is 17 and pregnant. Tell me how her abstinence theory is working for the general public if her own daughter can't abstaine?

Pro-contraception, pro-woman, pro-life

What about the social issues that Alaskans, especially the party faithful who often decide primary elections, may find important? Here's what Sarah Palin has to say about abortion.Palin said last month that no woman should have to choose between her career, education and her child. She is pro-contraception and said she's a member of a pro-woman but anti-abortion group called Feminists for Life. "I believe in the strength and the power of women, and the potential of every human life," she said.

she's anti-abortion

she's anti sex education

I don't think our country can take her and McCain after 8 years of Bush. If they want us to put up with that shit, they need to legalize weed pretty damn fast.

Source please.

When you teach abstinence only you are teaching that the only way to avoid pregnancy is to not have sex. Period. They have abstinence only in IL and the number of teens with babies just in my little town will make your head spin. There are actully kids that believe that you can't get pregnant the first time. This come from not educationing them. If they're only education is "sex, don't do it" how can they learn?

you spend to much time thinking about the past and not enough about the future... there is no way for you to make this right...teenagers should not be having babies...there is birth control....:eyesmoke:
I spend TOO (get it right, OK?)much time thinking about the past? And how am I trying to make "what" right? Teenagers are having babies as we speak. elected officials are getting blowjobs from their mistresses in their offices as we speak. Pray tell, what am I trying to make right other than merely stating an observation?

BTW, calling me a SICK BASTARD is acceptable with the new rules around here? Just saying.
