so i think i am going to for go trying to do the dwc thing... its going to be a pain in the ass... i dont have any plants under 12/12 right now.. so i have to manually move the thing to a dark room when it would be lights out for her... trying to move it with water and air tubes and shit is going to be a real pain in my dick... so i think i am going to stick to just good old fashioned dirt for now...

i need to quit fuckin around and get the thing started already.. maybe that will be the goal for tomorrow..

So I went to go buy a 16oz beer cup from the supermarket today, and to my dismay they are all now 18oz! Both the solo and store brand blue and red party cups are 18oz. I did find some blue tinted clear 16oz cups, so that's what I bought. I'm all but certain some people have unknowingly begun their competition in these larger cups however...

Anyway, I'm just going to use my 16oz. Unless everyone else is using 18oz...

Going to sow my seeds this evening.

so i'm sure this has already been answered - but i don't feel like going through the whole thread to find it. so:

how do you judge the winner? overall hight and width of the plant? or how much cured product comes off of it? or a average of all of them?

3 plants total for your entry's, there is two categories, best weight, which obviously means who ever yield's the most off one plant wins,

then best looking plant is where everyone has one vote and you vote who had the best looking overall, you can vote for yourself

i might be throwin bubbleGum or bubbakush in aswell (got 30 beans for xmas)
but im unsure yet....very indecisive,lol.
goodluck to all, I'd be blown away if i won,this is mostly fun for me but im hoping for someone to get like 1.5oz-2oz(dry o.c)it be hilarious looking in the cup.

ah yes. i remember seeing that from the beginning now. but one more question. with best weight - couldn't someone not trim it as much as they usually trim there buds and not dry it for as long as they usually do - just to add more weight? or is there rules for the weight?
like you have to just wiegh the whole plant - cut off at the stalk - and hung upside down. NO trimming anything, harvesting, or drying.
i think that would be the best way to do that.

uhh that makes no sense, its best weight dried, its pretty easy to tell the difference between freshly trimmed buds opposed to something ready to smoke, and if anyone would try and cheat they really need to get a life, especially trying to cheat on some damn internet comp, im sure were all pretty honest here....

I dont think anyone wants to cheat or is even thinking of cheating. We all just wanna see some diggity dank ass bud grown in a lil cup for all to enjoy! :)

Oh hell yea, my Green Elfy is up and at 'em, my Orange Mass was just sewn today, no pics, no batteries, I'm in it to the end. I'm curious how these will play out. Thanks again Sicc for starting this.

Well fuck you guys, I already harvested and got a 1/4 LB off one plant in a party cup.
Grew it under a blacklight and fed it a tea of banana peels and apple cores.
Took me about 3 1/2 weeks from seed to harvest.
Fuckin' sweet nugs. The secret is in the 19/5 lighting schedule!!
