I leave for a couple days and FDD has hit the road and there's a bunch of wieners running the board now.
IF it wasn't for all the people crying about unfair bans and such everything would be fine. How about people learn the rules and get over their bans.
And there is a difference between a joke and really harassing someone.

Someone would really have to hate someone to give someone negative rep repeatedly, especially since they have to spread rep first.
Negative rep will put an end to the rep whore trolls and adding a dislike button and making it so that if 10 members dislike the post, it will go hidden, with the option of viewing it for someone who does want to read it.

's from trolls. at least now, if someone wants to tell me to go fuck myself, whether they choose to do it in public or private, they still have to sign username to it.

How about, you need 200 rep points before you can give negative, and from then on, you can only give as much neg as you have positive? We can all start over on rep points.. lol

I like the dislike button idea, that way if someone dislikes a post they don't have to see it again, and if someone quotes it then it just shouldn't show up for the person that disliked it. Also like that if a certain number of people dislike it then it gets deleted or an infraction is given.
OO! Maybe, just maybe, if we can get some mods under control and trust our mods to not abuse it, then if a person gets an infraction that could be in a sense negative rep, each infraction you get more rep taken away and after you reach 0 you are suspended for X amount of days, start over and next infraction or offense is banned?

Like I said, make it so a person needs 200 rep points before they can give others a negative.... if someone has that much time to create an account and gain 200 rep points to frag someone, they are going to be abusive in other ways long before they reach 200 points. I do not believe that the ability to give NEG rep to be given to any new account. It should be earned. That way, the community can help police it's own.
