"I mowed the lawn today, and after doing so
I sat down and had a cold beer.
The day was really quite beautiful, and the drink facilitated some deep thinking.
My wife walked by and asked me what I was doing,
and I said, "Nothing."
The reason I said "nothing" instead of saying "just thinking" is because she then would have asked, "About what?"
At that point I would have had to explain that men are deep thinkers about various topics, which would lead to other questions.
Finally I pondered an age old question: Is giving birth more painful than getting kicked in the nuts?
Women always maintain that giving birth is way more painful than a guy getting kicked in the nuts, but how could they know?
Well, after another beer, and some more heavy deductive thinking, I have come up with an answer to that question.
Getting kicked in the nuts is more painful than having a baby, and even though I obviously couldn't really know, here is the reason for my conclusion:
A year or so after giving birth, a woman will often say, "It might be nice to have another child."
But you never hear a guy say, "You know, I think I would like another kick in the nuts."
I rest my case.
Time for another beer. Then maybe a nap."

Although this section of the program may help with co-pays for anyone with type 2 diabetes, the other post has info on other disease specific programs. They may help with meds as well. Some of them do NOT have limitations on assets, income or insurance. They were able to save me a ton of money on some horrendously expensive prescription meds. Well worth a review.

On the road all day, had no time for a decent meal. I take a break at a pond and this duck comes up to me quacking, stretching its fat wings, poking its beak between its voluptuous breasts… and I catch myself thinking, just for a split second, ”do I have my phone on me so I can lookup how to butcher this duck”. Poor duck, I didn’t mean it, not like I have a knife on me.

My A/c on my new car got hit by a rock and need to be replaced . $1,399. 3 months old 2024 Toyota Corolla Cross Hybrid.
That totally sux! I could never understand why there isn't some sort of grill in front of those units to prevent just that from happening. A week ago Friday it was hot enough up here for me to check out the A/C on my 2008 Saturn Vue and damned if isn't still working. This year I'm going to rig up a curtain behind the front seats to keep both the cool and heat up front as it's a very spacious vehicle and hard to maintain a comfortable temp up front.

Yeah, dealer said it was just bad luck. It’s a design flaw. It could happen again and I asked if there was an accessory to prevent this from potentially happening again. She said no because it would interfere with the electrical sensor devices . I assume like the collision sensors and the cruise control sensors and lane change sensors. I called the other dealer down the hwy to see what kinda quote he had. He was $500 more . Some shit like the new coolant they use for these vehicles is $300 alone.
Next week I am gong to call the dealer that sold me the car and also the lemon law number to report this. I don’t expect much but it’s worth a shot. I dropped some serious cash on this vehicle. Traded in both my old cars for it and more cash on top. I do still really like it a lot.
