greets from the UK! I honestly doubt you'll find out what the strain actually is, it's incredibly difficult to 'eyeball' a strain. It'd probably be easier to ask the guy the original bag came from!

starting pk that early is generally not what most do, I'm guessing you are talking miniscule amounts though? If appetite stimulus you're after I'd perhaps look more at indica leaning strains. not saying that sativa won;t stimulate you in that way but it's more common with indica in my experience.

good luck finding something that suits your need and hopefully beats the big C man.

looks like she'Saying to go for a dip in the pool lol.welcome tomuch, looks like a sativa leaning hybrid of some sort, looks good n healthy.

Dr, man that blue dream looks lush, what's the make up? I heard lots of.hype about it then it was surpassed by cookies .
I dont know about this cut. It is really fruity. The one i had was the santa cruz cut and it is the one i like. It is santa cruz haze x blueberry and has more haze spice to the smoke.

Thanks for your input. And yes, I'm looking at some proper indica-seeds here for pain management and appetite stim. for my next round. Miniscule amounts of PK to begin with, then gradually raising the dosage. The thing is, that this was a "blind test" to begin with, until I figured; What the h*ll - let's go for it and see what kind of stuff it yields. Eyeballing is close to impossible, if not 100% impossible. What about the buds not yet being developed at this point, what do you guys think? Am I just paranoid, to think they're very late, or do you think there's nothing to worry about?

Anyhoo, thanks guys once again - I'll keep posting pics when I get further with this project, so we can all have a look and maybe when the buds are more developed, we can see what type of plant it might be... Here's hoping.. :)

@tomuch - rub the stem up and down gently with your fingers. What does it smell like?

When they are young they tend to smell like green plant and maybe manure/fertilizer. As they mature you can get a good terpene profile from a stem rub.

It looks like a Skunk #1 to me. Was the bag of buds skunky?

Hey Tomas,

buds developing slow would be pretty normal for sativa leaning hybrids. you are still fairly early on in flower for sat leaning strains anyway. as it's just a 'suck i and see' grow I really wouldn't be worried, it will produce bud, you'll learn some good skills practicing and when you make a seed choice from a seedbank you'll hit the ground running.

Thanks Don for a close to perfect answer! Gotta love your attitude - respect. Now, the thing is, that as it now is at the start of its third (3) week of flowering, I've started thinking that maybe I was wrong, and that the flowering just took a little longer since I had a 250W CFL (with only 4/8 U's working, so ~125W+) from veg to the sixth (6th) day of flowering (total: 2 months, a shade under). Fortunately, it broke that day - and so I went and bought a 400W AGRO HPS. Great bulb!

Perhaps these three pictures shows you a little better what I'm trying to say here. I've done four grows before this, from start to finish - but always had a friend with me. So one could say that this one is my first 100% solo grow. And btw, it started "by accident" when that mystery seed decided to germinate in a pot where I have a cactus, lol. :D (Transplanted quickly, though, obviously, hehe..) This is also the reason as to why I only have the one, and why I let it grow so big. It's now from soil-level to canopy/top ca 60cm, and in diameter ~55cm. Anyhow, look at the pictures, and please comment on what you think.
Is there a chance to get a 50g+ yield? I know that question sounds stupid, but I'm just curious since you guys know your shit.

Yours,
Tomas

P.S. Seeds being ordered at the moment, so, then you'll see a journal I'm gonna start keeping.

YES - It was skunky, actually as hell. The when I rub the stem, my fingers smell of lemon, "fresh herb/bud" (so to speak), and a little urine, lol...

ok I would pretty much forget what light it was under and focus more on the first day you changed the light schedule. some growers opt to count from the first pistil they see the majority will count from the day you flip the timer to 12/12. ( also you'll see much better results with the 400w believe me!)

So it's flowering proper now, you should hopefully not see much stretch from here forward maybe a little. more focus going into bud development. 400W lamp for a single plant I'd say you should hit more than your 50g by quite a way. providing you have no issues. what nutrients do you have? what are your day and night temps like, do you have good airflow?

I harvested the Mystery Dirt #2 and #1. We have been getting dew in the mornings and there was a bunch of PM in the bigger #2 colas. #1 was perfect!

My house smells so good!

I didn't chop Jail Bird and now it is raining cats and dogs!
