WARNING : First time i did it i put my finger over the whole shook it hard as hell.... it was activated and made crazy pressure... i thought the bottle was gonna explode, so i let go of the hole and that shit sprayed all over me....YUUUUUUUUCK.......

about the temps .... i see a lot of growers with 85-90 and get good yields.....my temps only reach 90 if i close the door... and i hardly ever close the door.... it stays between 78 and 86 .....:blsmoke:

We have the same enviro issues. But both our growth looks good. You are chillin the res, i'm not. Your not pumpin to your buckets, I am. I think it may cool the water to keep it moving, or would that do that opposite? bongsmilie
I do want to get the homemade CO2 going, next time I go shopping. I am about to leave my grow for the weekend again. Hopefully everything will be good for me while I'm gone.

With the temps it's said that it reduces potency. But good weed is good weed. That is a fact. My white widow last run, was disappointing. But I know she didn't get what she deserved. I didn't do PH. I didn't keep track of TDS cause I had no meter. I have no meter now, but I don't mix up my tank once I make it. I dump it then refill. GL. You know I'll be watchin. I know you'll be watchin mine. Lets get it.

Thats right bro.... gotta get it...

i would actually like to clear up the concept of co2... i dont understand it fully .... i always thought the more co2 the better .... but like you said ,the other day i read some shit about how different temps require different levels of co2...WTF... do you have a link to a better explanation.....?

or is there anyone out there that can clarify this for me...?

I love Al b.s Methods. And I side with his opinion on a lot. He doesn't use Co2 cause he says if you can't measure it right control it right then don't use it.

Same for haveing ph tds pens when growing hydro.

Alot of people grow the plants before they build the setup, we have all been guilty me too. But I have been blessed not to have any bad problems like I've seen others have. Knock Knock Knock (that was on wood, lol.)

I would do links, but I'm about to take some pics and get going. I have to leave and it's already getting late. I still gotta shit shave shower.

Hopefully i can imitate al b's sog method.... thats my goal ... except slightly different .... i think hes doing 1 lb every 2 weeks with 2 1000w hps's....and a 400w hps for veg.

i got the 600 w im using now , a 1000w hps and a 400w mh..... ill use the 400 w for vegg and the other 1600watts for 1 lb every 3 weeks.... so thats 9 weeks flower... if i can get a few more practice runs..... and a home where i can make this a secret room ..... this might be possible......

Right now i dont have the space for all that heat......:eyesmoke:

Today i modified my room a lil bit... i raised the light about 8 inches ... now its about 16-18 inches from top of plant...its still illuminates the whole space ..... my grow area is only like 3x3 .... i can use more space but dont have enough plants...LOL...

Shes starting to bush up now..... the cola is starting to form..... shes grown about 10-12 inches in 2 weeks.......

RM temp : 81
water temp : 73
pH :5.7
humidity : 36 %

Question : One of my cuttings even tho its almost rooted,the top of the stem is turning kinda reddish....is this normal ????????:blsmoke:

Do you have a pic of the cutting?

Why do you say 9 weeks? Are you assuming the widow to finish in 9. You can do Als setup instead of two 1000s, the first 4 weeks they get 600 last 4 weeks they get 1000. And if it is one big room they are getting 1600Ws regardless. My big problem is the lack of those lights. And yeah heat.

Heat is a motha fucka. location is key to growing, and yet again, we both need a location. From there we can do what we gotta do.

Ill take a pic of the cutting by tomorrow ..... i say 9 weeks cause they recommend 8-10 weeks ..... 600 for 4 weeks and 1000 for 4 weeks sounds good .... when i finally do get my location im gonna try a couple of different ways to see which gives me more yield.... its true 1600w regardless , if we go by a gram per watt were talking about 3 and a half lbs... thats fucking great for my situation....

PS : I noticed since i started growing ive learned to have more patience ... with everything..:blsmoke:.. Does anyone else feel the same..... ????? I use to be real inpatient.....:evil:

Since i raised the light a bit the room cooled off a couple of degrees....
shes getting hairier by the day but no big spurts..... its all good cause i see the new growth is coming out frosty...mmmmmm.....:mrgreen:

The first 4 picture are from the cutting that is not turning red.... it was more mature when i cut it and it has plenty of roots coming out.....

The last like 6 pics are the one that is turning red at the top of the stem..... but as you can see it is still growing pretty healthy roots.....

Is that red normal.????????. I think it got redder since yesterday.....

thank you camaro.... and welcome to my journal.... this is my first hydro grow ... and i lost 3 other seedlings due to rookie shit.... so i was extra careful with this one.... luckily i bought feminized seeds...

She was a trooper from the start tho...... has taught me alot......

Shes already bigger than any plant i had in my first grow ..

Today she was extra hairy .... extra perty ..... shes approx 18 inches tall ....
lots of little bud spots .... ill take some pics tomorrow...
