hi, has anyone had any experience with short stuffs snowryder or sweet seeds speed devil? How easy to grow, height, method used etc...?

I've grown 4 Short Stuff SnowRyders. All the seeds I ordered from Dope-seeds.com arrived in a timely manner, germinated, and in 14 in pots (1.4 Gallon) under a 400w HPS and 445W CFLS each plant pulled roughly 1.25 oz. Smoke was a nice mellow high. I've grown all the Short Stuff AF strains with the exception of the new cali-haze. My two cents, auto assassin is the best.

So for 1 plant how much light would I need?

At the very, very least a total of 100W of CLF, not 'equivalent' wattage but actual CFL wattage. I highly suggest these 105 watters, a High Pressure Sodium light will work best, but these will do in a pinch and for $40 bucks you can get one in a veg spectrum and one in a flowering spectrum which would be perfect for a small grow op.

Make sure to order the Medium E26 base as a Mogul base will not fit in a standard household socket. For reference, I live in a state where 4 plants is a misdemeanor and 5 is a felony so I only grow 4 at a time. I use the lighting set up described in my earlier post.

Hey guys, I'm thinking of growing white widow. Now I've heard a couple of stories about guys growing it and people smelling it when they walk by the house. I've also heard that you can grow it outside here (england) and in northern parts of america that are on similar latitude? Is this true?

Also what's the best way to control height indoors? Put it on 12/12 light from seed? (will this cause it to flower quicker or when it's still small?) Pruning? Bending over the stem gently? Or are there other better ways?

Currently have a sweet seeds speed devil 2, fast bud and a short stuff auto assassin going....The SD2 and FB are about ready to harvest. The SD2 stretched a bit but is one solid stalk of bud kabobs. Very nice looking and stanky dank....FB stayer shorter wiht it's own nice cola + sats.....AA is a month old and growing nice buds up and down her shaft. All these are under 550 w hps....
To get even close to "projected" yeilds, you'll need quite a bit of energy....from hps or a bunch of cfl......

How ive got mine is a 125w cfl growlite giant dual spectrum,no messing round with veg lite then flower,with this it has two filliments,both spectrums wont harm it so less fuss,especially with auto's aswell,as a auto will automatically bud with a minium amount of lite,e.g 10 out of 24.What with being female too,ive heard of people leaving males with females to do their thang to produce colas but i think u cant with these,please someone explain this fact,is it true that its best not to top lowryders as stressfull.I intend to build a small box e.g 2ft-3ft sq with the cfl (i got it from www.basementlighting.com-check out evirolites/plug 'n' grows-but remember lead & mine is giant dual spect £19.95) & 4in 12v fan for exhaust with half size inlet hole with dust filter,covered in mylar,using soil,try tomato feed,have others,wont mix,have bonemeal & blood/potash dry mix 2-any good anyone? The only thing i have to sort is the carbon scrubber or filter with mesh or grans,unsure yet,at least you have no probs with heat with my bulb,L.e.d's can be expensive,cfls use less power,i dont mean the waste of time standard energy saver bulbs-no good,get grow lamps or evirolites or plug 'n' grow from where i mentioned,saves getting 8 25w tiny ones,what i have do the job,i have to sort rite seeds etc,then blast off,electric goes! suggestions on seeds anyone,ive heard of also:blue mystic(no smell),northern lites,dwarf ganja,ak47,snowryder,shortstuff 2,lowryder 2...Thanx 4 help.
