I ordered PC sleeving from these guys in the past
this tech flex will look even better than that rigid corrugated stuff
they now have expanded tech flex that opens up & closes 200 -400 % expansion rates
that will go over my mini molex fan connections

they have that sleeving in velcro open-up but @ US$2.75 a foot seems a waste o'coin to my cheap ass

all the fan tie into that & a extra space to jump to another bar if needed
comes with velcro , 5 pin PCB to full molex
that's a 2 gallon water jug smaller than a 5 gallon that's it's sitting on

5 AMPs will push alotta fan , my fans run @ 1/16amp so 8 per amp = 40
my grid will be 32 so see what I mean ? ? ?
I'm a run 1/2 capacity on this type of item soo having over amps is a good thing

I ran mine through my fins and aluminum angle. Also nothing but solder.I love that mine has no wagos or the like sticking out.

Those are sq tubes & too much pia to drill & weave wires in & out. KISS is key why make it complicated?

Those holes should barely impact performance, aesthetics are important (for some)

You like hiding the wires, thus drilling extra holes in your sink not necessary anyways.

My intent is the AL tubes are reusable the only holes I want are the cpu cooler hold down points
the cpu coolers need to be reusable as well & are drilled by a template so thay are exact to each other
( i can flip a cob to another side of the bar with ease & I can add cob/coolers to the bar if needed for blending of Kelvins )
I'll maintain a clean look but without unneeded holes
no hanging wires fer sure
i'll post up more pix later today
still waiting on my dimmer switches but got my pots I'm gonna wire them to getherr on each dimmer lead
that way I can run driver at 105% approx or be in dimmer mode by flipping da switch
that switch circuit will be mounted on a small plate under the driver next to the fan pcb terminal.
my overall intent is make a clean looking bar that I can makeover when the tech changes
also to make a simple clean repeatable process that I can bang out bars with ease

I've got some really cool looking Server coolers that are going into a 'Retro Look Veg Lite '
they are all copper sinks & heat pipes
I might build it with copper tubing to match

Yeah, that whole modular thing pretty much rocks, you get enough of something together it starts to feel like playing with Legos!

that's the intent to do little as possiable soldering & have everything plug & play when I can
velcro & their tiewraps & silicone ,hot glue all functional & reuseable (ect silicone easliy sliced off AL )

lol you should see my 2 fixtures, totally hilly-billy style, the good thing is I got the lights hung high enough that I dont have to constantly look at the mess on top of the heatsinks!

nope, avoid silicon at all costs
get kapton tape if u wanna tape wires to the sink etc
hot glue i havnt tried to remove but i promise you silicon you will regret

You may want to look into some grommets for those holes. At the least, check the wire casing from time to time to make sure it doesn't wear through. The black plastic lining shown a couple posts back could be used as well.
