What was the R rating of the fiberglass that you used to insulate that room...

I know you said it was 9 1/2 inch... ive been told that R13 is good but im not too sure on which stuff to use...

Thats some grow by the way - love it.

ie... what kind did you use... how did you figure it out for the spacing between the beams etc...

hey white widow,

SoG's been busy so let me see if i can help. Depending on your situation the thickness of insulation can vary. Like say your in a basement R-13 would be fine, But if your in an attic like he is you need 91/2" R-30 The spacing is 15 1/4" and go which means mark 3/4" of an inch before every red number on your tape measure. This will give you 16 inch on center stud spacing and allow sheet rock or plywood to work on layout. You just have to buy insulation for 16" on center studding, as 24" oc is also available.
