DOW only down 900 today, sad that it qualifies as good day under tRUmp.
We were warned of this. I mean if we were members of the exclusive Tar Heel club who received confidential information about the severity of the virus from Republican Senate Intelligence Committee chairman Richard Burr who warned that they should liquidate their stocks as he was on the very same day that President Trump created this wonderful buying opportunity for @Bugeye by saying "It's going to disappear. One day, it's like a miracle. It will disappear,"

I wish they would finish that damn Durham Report. Somebody needs to be locked up that isn't a member of the Trump Administration.

We had a meeting today. Odds are we are switching from mostly auto parts to all medical. Not by choice either and if it happens its up to us if we want to work or not. I'm gonna keep working until they make me stop.
Sorry about the blurry pictures. Theres normally about 15-20 other operators on this shift. Its friday, we only work 10s or more here. Today is straight overtime no matter what you do here. There is 5 of us here. That's quality control, shipping, operators.. only 5 people working20200320_174415.jpg20200320_174351.jpg20200320_174329.jpg

The green yellow red lights are what shows if a machines on. Red if stopped green if running nicely. No lights on. Its ominous as hell

Wife woke up fatigued achy and with a persistent dry hack

Im stuck in the house for at least 10 days now
I'm worried about myself. I'm stubborn as hell. My natural response to getting sick is.. "man I don't got time for this shit" and I just fight it without realizing how bad it is. I've also tried to fix a broken arm with a wooden spoon and duct tape as a kid. Made it about 3 days til my dad found out. I'll do absolutely anything to get out of going to the hospital lol. Also worried because I'm so active and in good health.. i don't think this will affect me to the point where i think i caught it.

Some complete and total moron on twitter wants Pa. house republicans to see if Gov. Wolf had the authority to shut everything down like this.

Fuck these science denying idiots, just send them the virus and instructions how to infect themselves.
Oh but there is "science" behind not doing anything. It's called "herd immunity". Let it spread while keeping those likely to be harmed by it safe. This causes little pain in the pocketbook. Also, their own elders will be safe, it's people who aren't rich that will die off, but "only" 10% will. Once the herd is immune, the 70 and older demographic are decimated and a vaccine is available, everything will be great.

There are a few downside risks to this convenient do-nothing argument. Such as, the collapse of the health care industry and the risk that it could be worse than expected for people now deemed not at risk. Or re-infection could occur with a deadlier hand than expected. But, managers love to say they are taking a risk when making a convenient choice and then cry holy hell when the risk is realized. I call it: "I only accept upside risk" management style.

Well there is no testing here unless you’re intubated or a medical professional. The doctor said not to go to the hospital unless fever is over103.4 or difficulty breathing. You just have to stay at home ten days from onset of symptoms

then another ten days from whenever my symptoms come on and ditto our daughter

well be fine, but stuck at home and unable to make money

I’m gonna sell one of my trucks I guess

Yep, stuck here because they simply can’t test

oh well, we’re stocked up. I’m out of two weeks work. I’ve got some savings to lean on but not that much.

goodbye second truck. I’m gonna miss that one
That's all real shitty. You're not gonna rely on the super taxed check from daddy trump?

I actually have been feeling a little wheezy, but I have allergies, it doesn't matter as rational as I try to be and remind myself of it, I still wish I could go take a stupid test to be sure.

Ya know I've been thinking (a sign of trouble), why should the Trumpers and Russians have all the fun with disinformation?
Here's a good one:
"Trumps wants to tattoo a barcode on yer forehead before of ya can buy groceries! Yep bring ID next time cause they is gonna be tattooing folks right at the door!" I mean trust me folks, people are saying...
