If you have been conditioned to religion all of your life, it is difficult to break free and you are also vulnerable to being conned and fleeced. Covid will mutate, as virii are won't to do.
The new strain will start affecting children more often and with more severe symptoms and it will be guaranteed fatal to elderly people.
You haven't heard this on the news but it's hard truth.
The more people the virus infects, the more chance for mutation it has.
The public is told containment is to stop the spread and the virus can be lethal. Which is true.
The public is not told how lethal the virus could get after mutation.
Stay safe, wear a mask. Before we all have to live in a post apocalyptic video game setting.

There will be a difference next time around, people openly challenging their patriotism and morality, it will be a hard fucking sell. Anybody who supported Trump has no right to hold up the symbol of unity and people will make this plain to them where ever they appear in public whining. These times will leave their mark on American society, many people have had enough of this bullshit and will call it out for what it is. It may or may not be helpful, but it is what it is, wait until the trials and convictions give them moral license to kill.

Experts will soon be in control and Joe is gonna grab the bull by the balls early, so it won't be so bad when he has him by the horns. The bull is a stand in, for both covid and Donald, after Joe officially becomes president elect on Dec 14th and he has full access, his grip on Donald's nuts will tighten considerably. Knowledge is power and Donald is an ignorant moron, Joe's people know how to use power and they not only know where the light switches are, they know where the levers of power are too. They will also have access to the top secret WH sever where they have been hiding many of Donald's dirty little secrets, that will be an interesting read.
The more covid the more chance of mutations and of it becoming endemic in animal populations and mutating there too, it's a question of probabilities with many trillions of possible permutations every day, every time it replicates and every time it jumps to a new host species.

I was speaking more on the virus than politics because I'm Canadian.
Watching the U.S. devolve has been a sad experience for the last 4 years and while I'm disgusted by some of the President's choices, it feels like driving by a train wreck. I know I shouldn't be staring but Jesus this wreck was a bad one so I have to look.

I'm Canadian too and we are gonna have one Helluva time this winter with covid at the rate it is going, Christ help the Americans until they get responsible government and then it might take some time, Donald won't help, but will try to hurt. But somewhere I read that these viruses are always mutating. Most of them not as virulent. But those mink in Denmark are a real concern. We might live with some firm of COVID for 2,4, or even ten years.
Good books about plague : A Distant Mirror by Barbara Tuchman. It's about the 14th Century and the Black Death.
And of course Camu's "The Plague". I highly recommend both.
