better forget everything with Aptus label - this is cleverly designed rip-off cheaters... their scheme is to let it look scientifically but much of it is just made up - to sell extremely overprized products.
they even use sectarian methods to positively select their preferred customer group when they write downright nonsense like "plants are also humans" right at the beginning of their bible.

epsom is very good watersoluble so can be used in waterculture ofc, but gypsum not, it's not bioavailable

No, gypsum is barely water soluble. Coco is considered a hydroponic medium.

Powdered gypsum is instantly water soluble. It has been used to treat brewing water for 300 years. It's also just as bioavailable as the calcium found in your nute blend.

Fair enough, I missed that. Personally I see zero reason to use gypsum or "CalMag" if you have a balanced hydro formula. I could see using it in soil however.

It can be useful as a Calcium supplement without adding Magnesium. Calcium deficiency is a lot more common than Magnesium.
