I was an O/O for over 30 years. It's the same with all the big DC's. You can't just single out Amazon on this. Try going to a Anheiser Busch facility as an O/O. Or Walmart, Target and the list goes on.

No I wouldn't touch anything for less than 2 a mile. Yes there is that occasional 3+. But very much the exception rather than the rule. If your friend is making 4-5 then what was he doing at Amazon anyways. Sorry but he is exaggerating greatly.

Yeah I've never ordered anything from Amazon because you have to make an account and tie your bank card/credit card to the account.
I'll just stick with eBay and check out as a guest without my financial info linked to an account
