Somewhere between 6 and 12 Sanders type liberals are running out of about 480 Democrats contesting for seats in the House and Senate this year.

They mostly picked off primary races in safe liberal districts. Most should win. I predict that for the most part, they will be good members of the Democratic Caucus.
I truly want that too happen , but the rights narrative is viral and hard to combat
Which is why they won't make headway in less than liberal districts.
We tend to lump everybody together as stereotypes. Here's an example of one who is blessed by Progressives(TM) but also sought Cuomo's endorsement in the NY AG race and won the nomination. It's my guess that she knows she couldn't do the work she has set out to do by running as an outsider.
