Day 33 Flower......Buds are starting to fill out :weed:.

Well we are well into week 5 of flower now and everything looks to be right on track to finish around week 10. I am thinking that around week 7, I should be able to drop my CO² level from 1420ppm to the 420ppm range. :bigjoint:

I will also try to maintain temps at 73⁰f to 70⁰f "lights on"/65⁰f to 62⁰f "lights off" & super low humidity. At this point I will obviously be throwing VPD out the window and I will possibly add my UVB lights, still not sure if I want to add them to this grow. My main focus at this time will be terpene production & preservation.

These strains are both 9+ week flower times but I am guessing closer to 10 weeks, maybe longer. So either way that should still give the buds 2-3 weeks in lower temps/humidity& CO² to ripen up nicely.

Day 37 Flower.....Carpet O' Bud :bigjoint:

From what I can see the buds are still nowhere done growing. None of the cylaxes have started to fill out yet but the tops are still growing at a pretty good rate and are getting really fat. These plants might need 11-12 weeks to finish . But there should be some really big, really chunky buds when we are finished.

I have a funny feeling this might be a crazy heavy crop if it keeps going as it has so far.....Or I have miscalculated or missed something and I am growing big airy buds. I doubt that I have but you never know. Lol

gonna be a killer harvest mate fuck yea love a good scrog.
She should be a killer harvest if I can keep her going for another 4 to 5 weeks. Definitely a respectable first run in a new room and set up.

I am getting nervous running this humidity so high right now though. Trying to keep VPD 1.2 to 1.3kPa but I would hate to have a mold issue in these big fat buds. Nervous to say the least.

Well it looks like Growtek won't accept new customers. They sent me an email when I placed my order saying they are scaling back their business not accepting new customers.

Anyone have other automated top feeding options?

So I did a bit of shopping today and picked up some soil items for my next grow that will be my first attempt at a "Living Soil".

Picked up:
Sphagnum Peat Moss
Fish Compost
Mushroom Compost
Sheep Compost
Worm Castings
Perlite
Gypsum
Oyster Shell Flour
Kelp Meal
Clover Cover Crop

Still need to pick up:
Rice Hulls
Bio-Char
Neem Cake
Basalt Rock Dust
Crustacean Meal
Worms/Nematodes/Microbes etc.

This thing is really gonna happen. :-P

Day 42/6 Weeks into Flower.

Now that the buds/colas have taken shape, I am starting to see different phenos of the Black Cherry Punch starting to take shape. Maybe I should have cloned these. Oops.

The Fuel Og are forming some pretty nice colas of solid bud. I was worried they would go fluffy but I squeezed a couple and they seem to be fairly firm so fingers crossed they turn out good.

I figure there is at a minimum 4 weeks left to go on these. Maybe longer.

This week I will start decreasing the CO², lighting ppfd and temp/humidity. Gotta start focusing on terpene/resin production.

As I said yesterday this week I will bring my growing conditions to levels that will support terpene/resin production and preservation.

Today I lowered my:
humidity from 74% to 60%
CO² from 1420ppm to 1200ppm
Temp from 87⁰f to 80⁰f

When the lights turn on I will adjust them to be around 1000ppfd at the canopy. Currently they are putting 1200-1400ppfd to the canopy. The lights will probably be left at 1000ppfd for the remainder of this grow.

Eventually sometime this week my growing conditions should be:
Humidity 50% or lower
Temp. 73-70⁰f
CO² 450-500ppm
Lighting 800-1000ppfd

Probably going to try hanging these two UV-B lights and try to stimulate resin production. I am going to take it easy with these lights as I don't want to completely fuck up my grow. They kinda scare me. :fire:

I don't know if you're interested in messing with an Arduino but I was looking at making something kinda like that Growtek set up using one. I just wanted to share the link to a couple of the projects I really like. They have a bunch of varying complexity.

This one seems cool and I like how honest the guy is about it:

This one is fancier, but it looks tight.

I was also thinking about looking at a way to set something up using a raspberry pi, but I think the arduino might be a simpler solution. (we'll see someday soon)

Funny, I was just talking about making one with a Raspberry Pi. The coding would be the hardest part.

I was looking at these yesterday. They run up to 16 plants on the smallest system but I am sure I can get away with 2 lines to each 20 gallon grow bags. Not sure if it's good quality gear but it's cheap and super simple.

Here is another one slightly different but on the same site. Still simple and cheap.

Like I said though these might be ok or complete junk I am going to have to look into it.

Heh! Not sure how, but I kinda forgot about the size of your grow when I was sharing the plans I was looking at with you. Doh! :D:bigjoint:

These you show are definitely more suited for you or Lusid to be sure. I really like both. They're cost effective and could be expanded easily.
