Hey Doloman-
Babies look like they are going for it, right on! Bagseed looking kinda good! Hard not too look at them every five minutes yeah?

I had a couple weird days, woke up at four in the am to the sound of cows in my yard running around, chased them out without damaging my s lemon haze only to discover a mouse had climbed up and ate the tops of my five sprouts including my Pure.(I usually flip a smaller pot over the sprouts at night, but then I thought a milk crate would be better. Wrong)

The next day I gotta pack up cause a tsunami is coming and i live 150yds from the ocean in a low area.

Anyways, germed another Pure and put her in soil today, so about a week or so behind ya now MR. SoloDolo. Grow Hard!
Hey Surf- man that is fucked up that a fuckin cow and a mouse are fuckin with your grow!! Shit, I'd be having hamburgers with a side of mouse if I was you
Good luck with your regrow of the Pure and BE CAREFUL with the Tsunami- that's some crazy shit right there! Post again when you get back- I guess you are just moving further inland for a couple days? I read that some tidal waves hit Japan. Good Lookin' Out Bro.

Currently I am only using tapwater which is actually well water. I measured it and the PH is neutral. I water with a dropper and give each plant 2 droppers in the morning, one in the afternoon and about 2 at night. This seems to be working for them since they aren't showing signs of being under/over watered.
The 180 watt LED is on 24/0 right now. I bought a timer this weekend and I am thinking about switching over to 18/6. I'm not sure if this will harm them in anyway or if it is beneficial... any thoughts?
ALSO- I decided to flower one of the jacked up bagseed babies early. I know this will result in very little bud- that is OK with me. I am almost out of what I have and I am in desperate need of more. (Shit, I sound like an addict...hehheh:bigjoint:) ANyways, in order to get some bud quicker I am going to take one of the weak bagseed babies and flower her early in another closet. I bought some CFLs to do this. How many CFLs will I need for ONE baby that is flowering early and will therefore be small? Two 26 watters? Or just One?

Thanks for everyone's input, thoughts and advice. The RIU members kick ass. :leaf:
if your using tap or well water let the water sit out to clear up some of the chlorine in the water. at least a few days.

i did a test a while ago. with 18/6 and 24/0. the 24/0 was allot faster growth.
plants that grow under 24/0 flourish and do not need a quantity of darkness in order to rest and perform Photosynthesis properly. more nodes are formed, more branches are created, leaf numbers increase, and the plant is growing at its finest.
The 18/6 photoperiod expels 3/4 the amount of light that a 24/0 photoperiod dose.
there are no problems associated with 24/0 and although some have attributed cannabis sexual dysfunction (the hermaphrodite condition) to 18/6 photoperiod, these problems are actually the result of heat stress.
a 24/0 photoperiod requires that your grow room temperature be kept well-monitored.

the 18/6 is cheaper to run and you use a 1/4 less electricity and extends the bulb life also.

i still use 24/0 no matter what because the growth cant be beaten. but theres facts about both ways for you.

It wasn't too bad Dolomite, just grabbed my rifle, my dog, 1/2oz, some water and headed up to some old WW2 bunkers to watch the non-action.

Sorry to hear about the short on bud situation, hopefully your new led changes that for you forever.

Right on man. Glad nothing crazy happened there in HI. And yes, I hope this LED can pay itself off for me!:weed:

Hows the little babies doin? My Pure is boosting, working on her first set of true leaves. I moved my seeedling table and put out rat bait around new location.

My Pure is planted around six different kinds of mint, wonder if that will affect anything?

What up Surf- I will post a quick little update with pics, although not too much has changed- just showing some growth.
That would be cool if this Pure had a minty taste to it! Maybe when you cure it in a jar you can add the mint then!

The sprouts first popped out on 2/24 and today it has been approx 8 days since then.
I added a humidifier yesterday to the closet. I found one at Meijer for $10. Now the humidity is at 50%- score!

I decided to add Fox Farms Grow Big at HALF Strength to 1 Gallon of water (5 mL of GB) and I have been using that very other water since yesterday. Please note that for their age, FF recommends using 10 mL to 1 gallon BUT I know that FF runs hot, so I reduced it to 5 mL. You will see in the pictures below- that compared to a gallon of water, 5 mL doesn't seem like hardly anything. The water doesn't even seem tinted. But that's OK though- I know that with Nutes, less is more!

water with Grow Big in it already

subbed, you got a head start on me.
i got some aurora b and the pure from FD via speedy.
i germed 8 of each about 5 hours ago, and i had the same result, but i noticed taps starting as quick as 90 mins on the pure and 2 hours on the aurora b.. FD must have some great stock on both strains, hopefully the AB is more stable than nirvanas aurora indica....
i also germed 16 bagseeds of some local mystery dank that comes around from time to time, it only took me about a year to get ahold of em, hopefully its a decent strain too, just no idea what they are. so 32 beans soakin, ill move em to the incubator soon as im done typin this... and i will also have a journal going, soon as i finish building the can ive been meaning to finish for like 2 weeks.. got no excuses now lol.

Picture of the Pure #4- notice the bright green color and the thinner leaves when compared to picture number two which is Bagseed #1.

Bagseed #1- this is the strongest of my 3 bagseed babies. Her leaves have straightened out where the other 2 are crooked and weird lookin'. Bagseed is also a deeper, forest green color with broader leaves than the Pure. (At this stage at least, that may change with age)

The first one you see in this pic is the Pure #5, the one that sprouted last but is catching up. You can see here she is shorter than the rest because she is 2-3 days younger.

That's it- my midweek update! Hope you guys enjoy my pics! 8)

Hey SoloDolo-

Little guys are looking healthy! Stoked for ya! The flying d's beans are great, I'm growing some Pure and early Durban from speedy right now side by side with Nirvana's northern lights. 2 out of 3 of nirvana's had mutated first leaves, i'm going to start measuring seedlings weekly. BTW my lemon haze is starting to smell sooo nectar. You still thinking about flowering one of em early?

IAMSTONED, good luck on your reforestation efforts.

Hey SPEEDY, i know a man of your honor would never do anything illegal, but if you lived in a 420 friendly country what you currently be smoking/growing/breeding?

If I were able to grow something right now, I would probably run violator kush, lsd, jack the ripper, quirkle, jilly bean, ak47, dark star plus maybe a few others.

word up I got some flying dutch pures, querkle, cannalope hazes and ak47 has become one of my favorite strains. The only one I'm doing right now is those cannalopes they are getting huge.

Anyways my huge cannalope looked just like one of your bagseeds solo. When it sprouted I noticed that the leaves curled under just like the sprout in this pic.

I am theorizing that it did this because of the massive size of the fan leaves that started growing afterwards because it wasn't lack of water and none of the others looked like that. I never had a seedling like that.

ANyways gonna start getting interesting now another week or so and than the rapid growth:bigjoint:

Ugh... noticed some spots on 2 of The Pures- #4 is the worst and #2 also has some. Well, I am not sure what I fucked up. I have been reading the board and looking in the Grow Bible- I am not sure if it a (P)hosphorus deficiency or what... From the book, that is what it most looks like... but these are just babies still, not sure if they can be deficient since I planted in Happy Frog and started with a 50% reduced FF solution, every other watering. The other thought is that the FF fucked them up? But, I also am shocked if that is it because I mixed in a measly 5mL into an entire gallon of water... 50% of what FF recommends... Ugh, I don't know. Here are some pics- can you guys let me know what y'all think?

Also- I am happy that they are growing quite well though. Their second set of leaves are gettin bigger!

The Pure # 4

The Pure #4 Alternate view

The Pure #2- not as bad as #4

None of the others have probs like this... Any advice or diagnosis?!?!
Thanks guys!

Hey Solodolo-

Are you letting the soil dry out a little in between waterings, or do you keep em pretty moist? Might be a little overwatered with a little too much nutrients, kinda early to be having defficiency problems. That's my wild guess, but if all the plants are receiving the exact same treatment and only two are stressed...hmmm
