I also have some FD/PURE growing and now under 12/12 1000w hps. 2 are a bit older and quite bushy but haven't shown sex yet. The 3rd is still veggin under T5 and also looking good.
I have mine in FF Ocean which has been a little hot for some Skunk 2 seeds that are growing alongside.
Be careful with nutes....I learned the hard way...lost half my 2nd grow, trying to "help"....So far this time, I've only used water for 6 weeks, allowing all to grow on the time release in the ff soil....My first grow was in MG and I did so good....2nd grow, started reading everybodies ideas about nutes and f'ed everything up.....I can tell, you're gonna nute soon....just be careful. The Pure appears a little heartier plant than the skunk 2 but ya can never tell.....

The pure is old school skunk, old genetics that have remained the same for some time.

Did you know that the cannabis college in amsterdam was started by flying dutchman.

Looking good my man!! Yeah, I too noticed the pures uniformity in comparison to the other sprouts I had going. I'm exactly 24hrs behind you in my sprouts and they should look like yours by tomorrow!!

Did you try to change your humidity?

Speedy hooked you up, talk about friends in high places! Ha Ha!! I go window shop at his website every other day planning out the future. So much fun!

I'm sure I'll do a journal sooner or later, just want to make sure I can finish it.

Hey Surf-
I have tried to increase my humidity and it is so ghetto fabulous the way I am trying to do it...

I soaked a towel and I hung it in the closet so that when it dries the moisture is kinda trapped in there. Oh man, I know my cheap ass should just buy a humidifier... BUT, the wet towel method worked to increase the humidity by like 5%- not bad.
Speedy Seedz is the bomb really- when you buy seeds, use them. You can trust 'em and the customer service is out-of-this-world. It's so rare when you find a place of business that has compassion for what they are selling versus just caring about the bottom line. It was my first time buying seeds, so I lost my virginity to Speedy! LOL:hump:

I'd think if you do half of what the FF label says you should be OK, but i'd check w/ the oldreefer for more advice. I kinda hold off till a little later on the nutes, but thats because I mix in worm castings and cinder into my FFOF topped with light warrior.

I've been keeping pretty good records of different soil mixes results, and hopefully one day I can come up with something. Lately I've been mixing rabbit, horse, and cow manure into my worm bin and will soon be adding freshly harvested seaweed.

Yeah, I like the FD packaging too. I was trying to open my GHS package the other day and spent the next hour cussing and searching in my seed colored carpet for my precious seed.

Whatever works for your humidity, or a glass of water.

I'm sure Speedy will take many more peoples virginty too. Good to be Speedy!!

Hey Oldreefer- I will take it easy on the nutes, thanks for the advice. :blsmoke:
For as much good as they are supposed to do it seems they often end up hurting the plants too. I will for sure dilute when I do start using them. For now though I am using only water and I probably will until more leaves branch out. The Pure so far is much more stable than the bagseed.

One of The Pure's is starting to sprout! It's behind the other 3 but I am so happy that now 4 of the 6 original are now growing! Woohoo. Now I need to send good vibes so that at least half of them are females!!

Anywho- not much change on the other 3 Pure and 3 Bagseed. Things should start to grow in a couple more days, from what I have seen from other grow journals.

So now I have 7 seedlings growing. This 4th The Pure sprout does seem to be a little bit yellow though and the first 3 were not. So maybe the late sprouting means it will be weak or unhealthy?

I will still grow her out as best as I can though!


Will post more as soon as they grow a bit more :peace:

Here are 2 pictures of the last to sprout- the Pure #5. This baby sprouted out of the dirt for the first time on Friday 2/26.
The first pic is from Saturday 2/27. Look how much she grew in one day compared to the 2nd pic.



2nd Pic- Sunday 2/28---



On the first day she was kinda yellow looking but now she is all green! She's trying to catch up to all her sisters. :hump:

thats whats up bro good luck on your first grow...im on mine now said i was going to start off slow now i have clones in the veg room...and spend more time with these ladies then i do my own family...gonna be watching

2 of the bagseed sprouts look pretty fucked up (all deformed and shit) This Bagseed used to look like that too but she is straightening out and is growing pretty fast.

Hey Doloman-
Babies look like they are going for it, right on! Bagseed looking kinda good! Hard not too look at them every five minutes yeah?

I had a couple weird days, woke up at four in the am to the sound of cows in my yard running around, chased them out without damaging my s lemon haze only to discover a mouse had climbed up and ate the tops of my five sprouts including my Pure.(I usually flip a smaller pot over the sprouts at night, but then I thought a milk crate would be better. Wrong)

The next day I gotta pack up cause a tsunami is coming and i live 150yds from the ocean in a low area.

Anyways, germed another Pure and put her in soil today, so about a week or so behind ya now MR. SoloDolo. Grow Hard!

It's been ONE week since I put the germed seeds in the Happy Frog! Time fuckin flies when you are havin fun! :lol:

FEB 19- Seeds arrived- Germed

FEB 21- Planted seeds in Happy Frog

FEB 24- First sprouts start to pop out

FEB 25- Sprouts grow

FEB 26- Sprouts are approx 1 inch and the last Sprout (The Pure #5 pops out!)

FEB 28- Sprouts are still growing and still have their Cotyledon leaves as the largest part of the plant

And that's my update! This has been way more fun than I ever could have thought. I love these fuckin plants!

Currently I am only using tapwater which is actually well water. I measured it and the PH is neutral. I water with a dropper and give each plant 2 droppers in the morning, one in the afternoon and about 2 at night. This seems to be working for them since they aren't showing signs of being under/over watered.
The 180 watt LED is on 24/0 right now. I bought a timer this weekend and I am thinking about switching over to 18/6. I'm not sure if this will harm them in anyway or if it is beneficial... any thoughts?
ALSO- I decided to flower one of the jacked up bagseed babies early. I know this will result in very little bud- that is OK with me. I am almost out of what I have and I am in desperate need of more. (Shit, I sound like an addict...hehheh:bigjoint:) ANyways, in order to get some bud quicker I am going to take one of the weak bagseed babies and flower her early in another closet. I bought some CFLs to do this. How many CFLs will I need for ONE baby that is flowering early and will therefore be small? Two 26 watters? Or just One?

Yo Irish-
I have the LED hangin' 17 inches higher than the babies. I tried to get them a little bit lower but the box and crate I have them on put them at this height. And I am to lazy to find something else... LOL

I totally know what you mean about how much time you spend with these girls. They are referred to as the "Daughters" in my house! LOL. We don't have any rugrats and the MJ is as much responsibility as I want right now! Haaa! :weed:
