i love the fish emulsion... stinks like deepfried turds covered with rotten pussyjuice though :spew:

looks like his Pure is really indica dom too. im thinking mine is the same pheno, its hard to tell it apart from the aurora b, except by the actual shape of the fan leaves. the pure seems to be slightly more pointy than the aurorab... slightly. growth and node count is almost identical.

Hey Reel- I can see from the pics that the Pures do look Indica but they are supposed to be a 100% Sativa breed. In person they are taller, lankier, less veg growth and have thinner (not by much) fan leaves.

Yeah, I think 1 foot would be a good spot to switch them over to 12/12. I think I remember reading the forum that they will grow 3x the height you switch 'em at- so switching at 1 ft tall means they will be 3 ft tall at the end of flower.

I think...

also- I don't have a problem adding more CFL lights if I need to, to get to the lower buds. We shall see!

They are in Fox Farm Ocean Forest soil, so they have been getting their food from there for now. The water they have been on is just an Epsom Salt (Mag-sulfate) solution.
I just gave the Bagseeds the FF nutrated water last night. Hopefully they respond well to it!

Looking damn good my man! You inspired me to clean out one of my closets for some inside love. Bought some cfls and been looking at leds online all day. How much did your led cost?

You have to be careful with LEDs- there are lots of non-quality chinese lights on eBay- if the price is too good then they are shit. I bought mine gently used from an RIU member for about $400- like half of the retail price, since it is a good brand and proven to grow.
I don't see any reason why you can't just buy tons of CFLs and use only them so you don't have to invest a shitload of $$ right now.
I didn't want to HPS because of the heat and electricity costs- plus they have ballasts and stuff- more chance for fires, etc- I wanted something more simple with less of a carbon footprint- that's why I chose LED.
I have CFL's in my closet as well- and there are some journals on RIU with people just using CFLs and the plants are lookin good.:weed:

How is your hand doing?

I will post pics later but just a quick note to say that the FF nute water was a hit with the Bagseed plants! They loved it and grew like 2 inches in a day! I will post pics laters.

very true. you get what you pay for!! do ur homework with leds and you do ok. dont fall for the no name brands on ebay.

MrSoloDolo u made a smart choice on buying a brand name led instead of buying a no name one that hasn't been tested. ive used PS 180w for a long time, and if used right you can grow some good buds with good yield.

everyone els looking for leds do ur homework and look at other grows to see what those lights will/can do. cfl's are always a good choice to improve ur led garden and save money

Dolo- Yeah, been doing alot of research on the leds before i drop the change. I've got 4 cfls right now(2x68wx2700k, 2x42wx6500k) and will see how that goes for now. Just popped some deisel ryder seeds for my first indor grow!!

My pure is doing pretty damn good too, all flower. I got some Early Durban from Speedy too and they are boosting too. Going to harvest lemon Haze in a week or two.

Yep, my hand is getting better, but I had to take some time off work so thats how the grow closet happened.

Lost is filming all over the place and Evangeline won't stop calling me(ahh gotcha, J/K about that last part- FOR NOW)

Hey Irish- they are growing nice and strong right now. Any spotting on the leaves is old and from a (P) or (Mg) deficiency that has been corrected now. One of the new leaves on Bagseed #2 was half yellow- it was weird because the other half was bright green- the whole leaf is turning just green now though, the yellow is fading.

I am not sure how long to let them Veg- I think I am going to switch to 12/12 pretty soon though, since I don't want them to be super tall.
Right now they are all between 8-7 inches tall. I want to switch when they hit 12" I think.

Yup yup- they all look good to me- they are all about 7.5 to 8.5 inches tall right now. They change more and more every day.
I will probably switch to 12/12 soon, once they hit about 1 foot tall.
