According to piers faggot morgan, he was wearing full tactical military grade body armor and weapons and munition...
Yeah, who woulda ever thought someone in the MSM would distort the truth or anything.

According to the Police Chief and The Sheriff, Holmes' only piece of ballistic armor was his helmet, otherwise it was a tactical vest and some black hockey shin guards, groin guard and thigh protectors. He would have been easy to subdue with a single shot center mass.

all of his weapons were purchased off the store shelf, none of them were special military grade hardware since that would mean they were full auto capable, his were not.

Even with a level 3 armor vest, with one shot, he would have been knocked out or at least been incapacitated long enough for a civi to take control of him...

To me it seems there were not enough men in that room... If i was close enough to hear or feel the shells drop next to me, the shooter was obviously oblivious to you being there, springing some time for some civi to tackle the douche...

you really are ignorant...
do you know how many gun manufactures there are?
do you know that they all come from different places from around the world..
and your proposing that they all magically agree to raise prices... already when pistols can range from 300-5000

i 1 star you as a person
you should probably brush up on what i wrote.

they wouldn't magically raise prices, that would be the work of prohibition.

how much is a pound of peanuts and how much is a pound of cannabis?

but please be an american buy a gun and learn how to protect yourself

http://www.naturalnews.com/036536_James_Holmes_shooting_false_flag.html
jesus just read heres all the info on the attack including the price of the equipment he had
omfg and here come the conspiracy theories.

if you really want to protect yourself, walk around in a kevlar suit all day and put some extensive alarm systems on your property. that's defense.

guns are not for defending, they are for going on the offensive.

how did i know a bunch of gun nuts would delve into conspiracy theories about trying to take their guns away? uncanny, but expected.

What proof do you have that says otherwise?

$20K? The guy spent no where near close to 20K. Where do you come up with this shit UB, do you just make it all up? A Smith&Wesson M&P AR-15 costs about $1100, 2 Glock Model 22 .40 Caliber Gen 4 Pistols? $600 a piece. Remington model 870 pump action shotgun, $300. Tactical vest $156, Shin Guards, $45. Groin protector $10, Leg protectors $150, Gas Mask $100, 100 round magazine $229.95, spare magazines for pistols $90, spare mags for Rifle, $15 a piece. A thousand rounds of 5.56MM NATO, $320. 25 shells of 00 Buckshot, $30. 120 rounds of S&W .40 JHP $60. Ballistic helmet $199. Tear gas Grenade ( not the same thing the Military uses) $16.49

Holmes had No body armor, just padded riot gear type stuff, the helmet was the only thing that might survive a pistol round. All of it for far far less than $20,000.
$20k was the figure that the paranoid conspiracy theory gun nut article came up with, i'll trust them over a hypocrite plagiarizing liar like you any day.

i've read the first page of posts.

An armed society is a polite society imo. At very least, i'd rather be in a room full of armed law-abiding citizens than not.

We don't need gun control, we need bullet control :bigjoint:

“You don’t need no gun control, you know what you need? We need some bullet control. Men, we need to control the bullets, that’s right. I think all bullets should cost five thousand dollars… five thousand dollars per bullet… You know why? Cause if a bullet cost five thousand dollars there would be no more innocent bystanders.
Yeah! Every time somebody get shut we’d say, ‘Damn, he must have done something ... Shit, he’s got fifty thousand dollars worth of bullets in his ass.’
And people would think before they killed somebody if a bullet cost five thousand dollars. ‘Man I would blow your fucking head off…if I could afford it.’ ‘I’m gonna get me another job, I’m going to start saving some money, and you’re a dead man. You’d better hope I can’t get no bullets on layaway.’
So even if you get shot by a stray bullet, you wouldn't have to go to no doctor to get it taken out. Whoever shot you would take their bullet back, like "I believe you got my property.”

Awesome post man...

Anyone trying to "pop off" would die instantly... All guns pointed at the perp...

a polite society is a polite society.

an armed society is polite only by hostility, distrust, and threat of violence. kinda like that big bad gobbmint you always talk bad about.

so i guess what's good for the goose is not good for the gander. not surprising.

gun nuts asserting wild conspiracy theories is not "playing devil's advocate", it's a gun nut showing off the paranoia and irrational thinking that is their trademark.

You misinterpret the reasoning behind the accuracy of the statement imo. An armed society is not polite out of the things you listed. They are polite because they are secure and unafraid to interact with everyone. The "politeness" of not being robbed doesn't come out of threat of violence either. It comes out of the assurance that if violence is initiated, it will be met with resistance, at very least.

Guns are used for MANY things. Let's see.......

1) Paperweight
2) adult "toy" (read recreation)
3) hammer
4) substitute penis
5) hunting
6) investment
Oh yeah, 7) Self defense

We could go on. It is a tool like many others.

In the situation of preventing violence, one is hard-pressed to argue that violence that is reciprocated and thus pevents or stops the initial and unprovoked violence is caused by the means in which the initial violence was averted.

In OTHER words, if i'm attacked/accosted and choose to use my keys to gouge out my attackers eyes, the keys can't be blamed for initiating the violence.
