I think if the Caspian report analysis is correct about 500K Muscovy's in Ukraine by this summer and a war of attrition, then the only way to deal with it is to drive the Russians to the borders with a blitzkrieg and destroy the Russian rail bridges leading into Ukraine 100 miles inside Russia and they will have to make their railheads well inside their borders. Cut off Crimea and if they can take it this summer or wait until next summer. The solution to this war is so simple and direct that it leads me to believe it has not been done yet deliberately, ATACMS can do it, so can cruise missiles or even drones with a big enough bang. There are only around a half dozen viable rail routes into Ukraine, and it is a well-known fact that the Russians can't operate more than a few dozen miles from their railheads. Rail bridges are very hard to repair, especially when ya drop a dozen of them in a short time and kill the crews repairing them with further attacks. End of the war and whatever Russians are in Ukraine will be cut off and surrender, or head back inside Russia if they can.
Sure, the Russians will continue to fire in missiles, but for everyone they fire Ukraine fires two back or drone attacks 2 vital rail bridges inside Russia, not just their military is dependent on the rails, their entire economy is, and it is an obvious weakness. The auto industry is crashing fast in Russia due to a lack of spare parts and if the rail network is damaged it puts more strain on the roads. Rail bridge attacks also have the advantage of not causing much direct collateral damage, most are in remote locations. Guarding all those bridges inside Russia will soak up a lot of manpower too and hitting even a drone with an AK is difficult.
