I wonder if the Russians were involved in those attacks too? Iran is in for an ass kicking, Joe and Bebe might have their differences, but when it comes time to kick Iran's ass, there will be no disagreement. This was a serious mistake on their part and America is itching for the chance to destroy their drone and missile production along with their nuclear capabilities. If Russia is involved, just give more shit to Ukraine and they can make them howl for you.

'We're not going to shy away': Kirby responds to Iran-backed attack on U.S. Syria base

National Security Council spokesman John Kirby joins Morning Joe to discuss the rocket attacks on U.S. military bases in Syria by Iran-backed groups and the United States' response to their destabilizing activities. He also discusses President Biden's visit to Canada, where he is expected to address migration challenges, climate change, and trade.
It's confounding that Iran would act up now, they have moved perilously close to weapons grade uranium(heard 85% last month) and a bomb is within their grasp, combined w/weaponry to Russia things are heating up here now to,Israel is experiencing serious political divide like never seen before w/Netanyahu weakening the Supreme Court by ramming thru leg. w/the razor thinnest majority made up of ex. rgt zealots. This has affected Israel's readiness as it's highly reliant on Reserves who are not reporting in protest to Netanyahu. Maybe the Ayatolla's conclude the time is right to stir up shit, all eyes have been on Ukraine but this is a looming powderkeg and Israel and USA are on record and now seemingly the clock w/stated policies that Iran will NEVER be allowed to become a nuclear weapons state. And the storm clouds keep forming.

The fog of war is thick now, we don't know the full extent of Ukrainian military power and we are not quite sure what further forces Vlad can muster. I'm sure the Ukrainian intelligence people have a pretty good idea, with allied help, but something tells me there is a massive Ukrainian armored punch preparing now. In some places in the south where the land is sandy, it is drying out faster and they are already doing tank fights.

Nordic countries plan joint air defence to counter Russian threat
Air force commanders from Sweden, Norway, Finland and Denmark said on Friday they have signed a letter of intent to create a unified Nordic air defence aimed at countering the rising threat from Russia.

The intention is to be able to operate jointly based on already known ways of operating under NATO, according to statements by the four countries' armed forces.

The move to integrate the air forces was triggered by Russia's invasion of Ukraine in February last year, commander of the Danish air force, Major General Jan Dam, told Reuters.

"Our combined fleet can be compared to a large European country," Dam said.

Norway has 57 F-16 fighter jets and 37 F-35 fighter jets with 15 more of the latter on order. Finland has 62 F/A-18 Hornet jets and 64 F-35s on order, while Denmark has 58 F-16s and 27 F-35s on order. Sweden has more than 90 Gripens jets.

It was unclear how many of those planes were operational.

The signing at the Ramstein Air Base in Germany last week was attended by NATO Air Command chief General James Hecker, who also oversees the U.S. Air Force in the region.

Sweden and Finland applied to join the trans-Atlantic military alliance last year. But the process has been held up by Turkey, which along with Hungary has yet to ratify the memberships.

The Nordic air force commanders first discussed the closer cooperation at a meeting in November in Sweden.

"We would like to see if we can integrate our airspace surveillance more, so we can use radar data from each other's surveillance systems and use them collectively," Dam said. "We are not doing that today."

It is the policy of the USA to always be at war. Literally.
The best defense, is a strong offense....and if you can't beat us, join us!
Great, Russia is fucked then, and Ukrainians will do the bleeding destroying them. It is the military and geopolitical bargain of the century, Russian military power destroyed for a decade along with their economy. The best part of all is they will end up paying the whole shot with seized money and Zelenskiy could show up in DC with a check as part of that payout & payback, there is plenty of their cash in our banks. There has to be an international legal process, but the crimes against humanity and war crimes sealed their fate and the sanctions will stay on too, until the crimes are addressed. It's not just Uncle Sam though, 50 nations are allied including Europe and they are giving lots of arms and money too.

There are two major rail lines into Belarus from Russia I believe and taking out the rail bridges into the place inside Russia would be a logical target for the Ukrainians. Cut them off from Ukraine and Belarus by rail well inside their borders by destroying vital rail bridges and not just those bridges, but other bridges that they must repair first to keep their economy going. This will cripple their offensive capabilities because they can't operate very far from their railheads. Maybe that's why Joe was holding off on ATACMs and the Europeans on cruise missiles, the mission is to destroy Russian military power and such an action at the right time should be the Coup De Grace. They can't blame the Ukrainian government for not doing it sooner either, so they would have cover for a longer war than required to just eject them from the country. It is gonna be a fight to the finish and it should finish off the Russians.
