War

I’m using a different aesthetic, I think. While the shotgun approach you describe will no doubt work, imagine the effect of sending a solitary drone right down the aisle of most intense surveillance, and having it land on target without having been previously detected. Especially if it is big enough to carry a lot of kaboom.
It will have to be very hardened electronically Many naval radars can knock a seagull out of the air miles away and the radar on a mig fighter can kill a rabbit on the ground at a couple of km. Hence the cooking a chicken on red square! Many in the crowd will have a warm feeling sweeping over them and it won't be patriotism...

Yeah, but the unalerted search radars don’t put that much flux into the air. That’s why I’m talking undetectability. Brute force works, but it ain’t elegant.

Napalm balloons with an igniter or phosphorous metal particles in it, just gasoline some diesel fuel and crushed up and dissolved Styrofoam. Hang it on a drone like a grenade and roast them in their foxholes one by one for pennies apiece! No need to waste a hundred-dollar hand grenade on them when you can make these with salvaged fuel and party balloons.

“phosphorous metal”??

(checks record collection)

Brute force is how ya bring down a drone by overwhelming its electronic circuits with power conducted by motor wires, antenna or any leaks in the faraday cage you have it contained in and then there is the problem of making a flying faraday cage stealth!
