If I understand the deal correctly, Hamas wants to count the return dead hostages as part of the deal for the ceasefire. So, probably not.
I wonder how many of those dead hostages are because of Israel's indiscriminate dropping of 2000lb bombs to collapse tunnels the hostages were/are being held in.

Bibi has a lot to answer for.

:peace:

that make me wonder too, and at the moment the IDF has taken the Rafah Crossing and is on the move on a second axis towards somewhere else.

if the hostages are alive, i doubt there will be many of them i hate to say......

Yes, the Israeli govt and Hamas both have a lot to answer for. But still, negotiating a peace fire using with dead hostages seems cruel, warped and intended to cause Israel to reject the deal. In this one detail, I agree that Israel should reject any offer like that.

Itamar Ben-Gvir an Israeli far-right politician and lawyer who has served as the Minister of National Security since 2022.[2] He is the leader of Otzma Yehudit, a Kahanist and anti-Arab party that won six seats in the 2022 Israeli legislative election, and is part of what has been called the most right-wing government in Israel's history.

"We've not enabled or encouraged strikes outside of Ukraine, but ultimately, Ukraine has to make decisions for itself about how it's going to conduct this war," he said.

Mike Johnson......have you grown a pair.......what?

In response to the ongoing debate whether the US should lift restrictions on US weapons being used inside Russia, US House Speaker Mike Johnson said that "Ukraine should be allowed to prosecute the war in a way they see fit. They need to be able to fight back and us trying to micro manage that effort is not a good policy."

That debate is ongoing in Europe as well and there's clearly a shift towards allowing Ukraine to use the weapons more as they see fit. Topped by the Germany's foreign minister just days ago: "Ukraine’s armed forces need more long-range weapons to be able to hit targets deep behind the frontline", putting pressure on Scholz to ok the delivery of the Taurus missiles.

nice, i like see the debate there....IMHO i think they should be able too....i know it sounds crazy but UA would be able to hit, military installations, troops build ups, and also weapon storage area that are across the border. If they would have had the green light earlier, what's going on in the Karkiv and Belogordo arenas wouldn't have prolly happened and the shelling in the north would prolly almost be halted.

She’s on her way out, about a month to go, so not for show or votes or w/e. New government, messed up coalition as it is, already agreed NL will continue financial, political, moral and military support to Ukraine.

And uhm where’s @printer ?
