SO FUCKING WHAT? You're at war, you have bounties on Zelensky's head, on the heads of several Ukrainian officials, you're murdering their people, and kidnapping their children. Actually if it cut the flagpole in half it would really say a lot of the Ukraine's abilities. As it is it was "this close".

they don't dare mount too much stuff too close to the kremlin, it looks bad for the comrades...They been telling them that they're winning, that the Ukrainians are incompetent, and that this will all be over soon, with russia victorious...why in the world would they need air defenses around the kremlin if they're so in control of the situation?

Some issues with the footage, this was a handheld camera (note the unsteadiness), that just happened to be pointing at the Kremlin early in the morning at exactly the right spot to frame the attack perfectly. The second issue are the two guys climbing up the stairs on the dome at the left side as the attack was happening. What were they doing there at that time of the morning? Were they changing the guard at the top of the dome or something?

It looks like a false flag to me, or it could have been a test by someone interested in claiming the prize for landing a drone on red square during victory day on May 9th.

Funny, that's what normal people in the west think about Putin, but it takes extremists in Russia to think the same of Zelenskiy. A coup in Moscow and Vlad could be walking down the stairs of a plane in The Hague. It would be even better than killing him, all the focus would shift to him while they negotiated their way out of Ukraine before their army is destroyed there. If Russia wants to annex Belarus in the future, it will have another war with a much stronger Ukraine over it, they should not permit it and if they want to steal a country then they should have to pay for it in blood and I mean a lot of fucking blood. Not being a NATO member has its advantages and Poland and the Baltics would pay for it, annexing a country after installing a puppet government is bullshit and should not be tolerated. Say goodbye to Kaliningrad while they are at it and say goodbye to the remaining Russian army, between there and Georgia, they should be given no rest. Imperialism must be not just beaten from the political elites, but from the population in general, so destroy their military and economy until the give up Siberia too, they fucked around and now they will find out.

I just don't see it. The Ukrainians know the capabilities of their equipment, they've been using it long enough. I don't see them possibly exposing a unit in place in moscow for a stunt they had to know was going to be pointless.
The only thing that makes even a little sense to me is that it was the russians, stirring up some internal propaganda, and perhaps setting the scene to cancel the parade that won't have any tanks or missile launchers in it, and will be missing huge formations of men.

The charges were small but showy things. I don’t see any damage from the one that hit, and leaving a fire is unlikely from a purely explosive device, which even with half a pound of plastic would have left visible damage.

It can't no matter how big it was, it's a matter of physics. A plane type UAV is what hit the Kremlin and I'm literally dusting off mine today (flying season) and installing a new 1200TVL camera and I might upgrade the flight control computer, but even my nano talon with Li-on batteries would not make the 300 mile distance without a payload.

I wonder if this could defeat the Russian GPS spoofing, something new in the commercial RC world, Walksnail makes digital FPV gear too. I've seen them use up to 4 GPS receivers in a diversity receiver configuration to defeat GPS spoofing.

It was probably gas powered and you saw the residual fuel go up. It would be very unlikely a battery powered drone would go the distance with a payload and if it did, it was probably the battery going up in flames.
