Yeah man thanks for the tip, Because she is Sativa dominant. SO what do you think would be a good idea? Give her 2 weeks 24/0 and switch into 12/12 or maybe wind down from 24/0 for 2 weeks then 18/6 for 2 weeks and then 12/12 ??

Yeah my buddy did this in high school, and you can look forward to about a bowlful, if you really lucky an eighth or 3.5 grams. Not worth doing at all.
I really don't know what you would expect off a cfl and a cardboard box, but I like how you said you're not a newby but you have no experience. Experience is kind of part of it. Cheers.

He ran a whole grow on a 2700k from seed through flower? how long did this take? Also I am a newb, but I wouldn't refer to myself as such, I know alot about this stuff already, even enough to get by with out the thread. But due to the fact im limited in space time and resources atm I am kind of just doing this for fun. Also I mean there's many dif. opinions, theories and myths that come along with growing. Never know what some one might know that you don't. Plus I am not looking to get a huge crop or else I wouldn't have wasted my time. Just a small potent batch will do. Worst comes to worst though I will just take her and plant her outside after this hot month of august passes by.

BTW. an eighth is 3.5g lol

I got mine from lowes for $15 apiece

I also got splitters from lowes for $1 so you can run 2 out of each socket. if you run 2 spltters you can run 4 out of one sockets even

This is one plant right? Grab like 4 more of those bulbs, have some kind of fan blowing on them, i dont run cfl's look at the t5's i believe people use, i think they are more powerful than having a bunch of the 65 watters

this is true but hes gonna have trouble trying to get a t5 in a car seat box

On the three gallon thats 12 inches sounds like what i like from depot its more wide than a three gallon planter that you would buy a tree or shrub in. . . I come to find out from experience and reading one month of growing = one gallon size . So veg four or five weeks veg and slightly two or more months flower will be good in three gallons. As for your box figure out how much soil it will hold in gallons and you can do the math for veg time and flower. Im pretty new myself but i dont think you will grow beyond six feet unless you are really kicking ass and veging for two or three months. LST training might be a better idea than cutting if you plan on switching them soon. I topped a mutant and flowered it without recovering it for fun it was stunted for weeks after. Hope this helps . Edit wow i think i misread you earlier. The box is cover for the one foot container ¿ where did i read six foot...

go get some 2x4's mylar tape pvc pipings and rig something up! i have confidence in you! drop that cardboard car seat box, build something for 30 bucks....check out the DIY section mate!

Well due to the fact im limited on space and working with a sativa dom. I am maybe only going to let this baby grow in between 2-4 weeks until i throw her into flower. Maybe we shes about 7-9 inches. This is just a educated guess, nothing is quite set in stone. I should have a few more lights in there after this first week or so.

What do you mean you topped and flowered with out recovering?

I was a little confused as to what you mean, you topped when you were flowering? or you topped then flowered? and what were you recovering from? lol

I topped the mutant and flowered it the next day because i didnt respect its weak deformed self. Needless to say it is true they need atleast another week of veg after topping.

Quick tip upup...I wouldnt ever suggest growing in clear containe rs if roots start to wrap the sides they wont appreciate the light. If you have nothing else maybe wrap them in some electric tape or duct tape that shit fixes everything. Plus you get a cool bottom window to your roots let you see how your roots are progressing. Could be easier to judge when to transplant as a new grower. Hope your grow goes great!,,

Ah, I see said said the blindman. Good point, didn't look at it that way, I will wrap it immediately then, lol gives me a good excuse to mess with her now and see how she's doing lol.

Okay so after a little minimum tinkering, I made the fan vent a little larger and cut holes in my boxes to allow for another cfl, also I wrapped my clear bottle so the roots don't damage from the light.

Be reminded that if that is aluminum foil, that does not reflect, contrary to what most people believe... you need mylar or something reflective

Not sure if its too early to tell but shes been responding pretty positive, good colors good growth IMO
