I know what you mean, I used to wait as well, but that's more indicative of how NOT to be a parent.

I would hate to imagine the pain after even eating a wheel of sharp cheddar and what comes thereafter, let alone giving birth to a kid....

A friend recently told me that while she was having contractions her man kept telling her to " take it like a champ " he was also grabbed by the throat.

I am constantly reminded how when my wife gave birth with my 1st baby.. I attempted to shove a wash clothe in her mouth... she says it was to shut her up.. I was more worried about her chippin her teeth as she was pushin... I Hid my head next to her the entire time.. no way was I watching.. 2nd baby I was more adult.. no wash clothes were allowed in the room
