nice grow man!!! i grew the ak-48 for years, loved it!! made a bunch of crosses with it and it seemed like it always got better. pm from the dispensary? thats a bitch wtf!! Guess I wouldn't expect much less, they probably do it on purpose so you have to go buy meds from them. the dispensary up here got a fine 18,000 for using chems for pest control and selling "under organic" they are mostly bull shit. there are some and they really know whats up. most are knock-offs of the real thing...

I gota give you props for the pics too!! thats a bad ass camera man. shit ive never had macro pics like that!!

I made it down to the city and hit up my favorite garden supply shop. I picked up a bottle of General Hydroponic's CALi MAGic... $10.00 is cheap for 2726 gallons if mixed at 1 tsp per gallon!

Got home and went to check on the plant's.

 I put this one in my starter soil 3 days ago. The soil was rather moist so I did not add any water. Guess I should have gave it some...

Hey Butchyboy :) I know your growing in soil but what kind of soil are you using? And what are you feeding these ladies...I'm looking at your pics above and I see a lot of similarity from my last grow...

My soil is a mixture of many things from the greenhouse. There is some Black Gold, Miracle crap moisture control high gnat formula all mixed with some sphagnum moss, forest compost, chicken manure, steer manure, perlite, vermiculite, bone meal, blood meal, garden lime, all purpose fertilizer..... I might be missing something. I have been working on ratios to make the soil arid yet hold moisture. If I get seeds from those plants I have been spraying I will kill off the grow and start with all new soil and dump the 100+ gallons of soil I have mixed in the garden.

The yellow edges you see on the young plants was there from the mother plants. The soil mix is hot for young plants so I get tip burn. As time goes by, the soil looses its ability to supply Calcium and Magnesium and I get what you see. I had just watered most of the plants the day before I got the cal-mag so I have to wait until I get to try the magic in a bottle....

Time for Hashish hits!!!!

Also...

I feed water. Sometimes some molasses. I have tried Epsom salt's and Foli-Cal with little to no results. I recently top dressed with some forest compost over some chicken compost along with some garden lime and the younger plants seem to be doing betterish!

Yeah...I was actually asking about the ones up at the top of the page...so your NOT growing organic then  Miracle Gro is a bitch...all purpose fertilizer sounds dangerous (in my humble opinion) Those girls in flower are looking like my last round did...I made the problem worse by adding CalMag...I transplanted to the ocean forest and watered with distilled. It was only a band aid but it pulled them through to harvest... I've avoided all issues thus far in my current grow by using the ocean forest soil and only feeding organic...just some food for thought...

I am not sure which ones are at the top of your page :dunce:

I have mixed so much other stuff to the small amount of miracle grow that all I have left is gnats LOL..

I like the idea of changing out to a new soil. I just want to do it all at once so I can clean the room real good and replace the floor with something more durable. I might even paint the room with some flat white with extra titanium pigment while I am at it. I might be fighting hot spots or some other mythological reflective monster! I am not to jazzed about taking away the mold resistance that my current walls and ceiling provide by adding a coat of paint.

Edit: The all purpose fert is Jobes Organic all purpose but who knows...

mmmm. yum I bought the same CaliMagic locally the other day pretty cool considering where I live :)

I hope it is the fix for my issues. That small plant is doing great so far! I am waiting for the yellowing to start up, should be anytime now. If the yellowing plant's weren't so big, I would pull them from the pots and look at the roots.

I sometimes wonder if the yellowing is partially from being root bound. Could a 3.8 gallon pot be to small for plant's above 20 inches tall??? The flowering plant's in the 3.8 gallon pots range from 22-38 inches tall at the end of the stretch depending on strain and height at the start of flower. The plant I have in a fabric shopping bag is currently 44 inches tall. The bag is approximately 5 gallons and the yellowing started when it was about 14 inches tall and prior to flowering.

My plant's seem to get the cal-mag issue then it looks like they become hungry and turn all yellow.

How long have they been in the 3.8 gallon pots? Did you transplant right before flipping your lights? I've demoted all my 3 gallon pots to veg duty...5 gallon or larger for flowering from now on....

The left one is plant 19 blue magoo day 52 and the one on the right is plant 15 XJ-13 day 54.. They look hungry!!

They do look hungry but they also look burnt...I would suggest your rootbound and have a lockout issue...stems look pretty purple...

I agree.. My temps drop to 50 degrees at night so that could be part of the purple stems. I have an XJ-13 that is 22.5 inches tall in a 1.5 gallon pot that is turning purple. I am up potting it into a fabric bag today so I will get a pic of the roots.

Thats pretty cold...so odds are you don't have a calcium lockout from heat?
What are your temps during the day? You may have a P lockout though...I'd be very cautious about trying to fix it with a bottle :???:
