Yeah I like the 4K ... It simulates the spectrum of the sun at High Noon .

My wife is now using a qb96 4000k for plucking eyebrows and doing makeup also.

Peyote Cookies ( 1 gallon airpot ) pretty much faded all of her fans up and began fading the sugar leaf. So checked today - triches were good , purp colors , loud stink , and very little popcorn. So I just trimmed her down and threw her into the dark for a night ... Plant is actually dry in the pot so I will just leave be until I cut the stalk.

Since I grow only for my own needs I didn't need a big an overly large container for this one. Looks pretty good for a 1 gallon grow ... Maybe next time I will go bigger.

Buds are throwing the peyote purple pheno so it's a danky sweet nose burn.
Long orange pistils .

Lol. Good eye. Yes I am. Jumper wire is real useful also. So are 48vdc fans pulled from old cabinets and power supplies from old def equipment. I’ve built entire cabs with stuff that was retired to be thrown away.

Hey everyone ran into a problem with my 4x 132 set up. This morning I noticed one of the boards was no longer lit and the others were dim. I proceeded to check all wiring and even changed out a few, but with the same result.

Upon switching the order of the boards the same board would not light. There are no signs of any sort of damage so I’m not sure what to do.

I originally ordered these from amazon and it says I can no longer return the

New project in the garage. 4xqb120. Waiting on hlg-240-24 and wago’s. Pegboard had been there not in use so thought what the hell. I’ll be able to move the lights up and down 3’. The hlg-240 will be mounted in the middle vertically. Total money invested $207

Have 4 blueberry's going under 4 qb120 3000k, 2 qb288 3000k, 4ea warm white cheap cobs 100 w run at 50, 4ea full spectrum cheap cobs 100 w run at 50. That's the overhead lighting, also on the lower walls are 10ea 36", 18 w ebay grow light fluorescents. Ditched the Kind 750 but got $550 for it so not a total loss. Added a little 200w heater so the temp stays at 69 to 86 +-.These plants look better than the last batch, I think they like the qb's!

here's some pics of the flower room. These are 38 days from flip. I trimmed the lower growth alot, even the small nugs below are very hard. They also get 15 min of far red at light out, they are on a 12-12 cycle.

here is the veg room qb's, as usual too many plants. 4ea qb 120 4000k on top and 4ea qb120 5000k below on the clones and seeds, dimmed way down to 40w. The clones are loving them, I know overkill but working good.

The 120s are just really versatile boards. I’m starting to like them more over my 304s

Funny you mentioned that. I’ve already been playing around with mounting the outer 2 vertically. I need more board lol!

Starting to bring down more plants and making some room for some New Blood.

2 strains being hydrated and planted into solo . Same peat mix with a pocket amended with FF light warrior.

Seeds were sown into cups today ( Tuesday ).

They will get the 288 rig ( 3000k ) and QB 304 ( 3500 K ) - 340 watts to start then powered to 420 at flower / mid flower. Right now a Gorilla #4 is basking in its light for flowering.


I think I might do a side by side with feed - Dr. Earth ( current favorite) vs. Megacrop.
Not sure yet , but they are both autos and will be in either 3 or 5 gallon airpots. Plus I got an EXTRA BX1 bought 7 got 8.

I got a pack of seeds in a breeder pack once, it was a five pack but one of the seeds was stuck on a wad of hott glue used to cover the tube.

4xqb120 and hlg-240-24. I have a jalapeño plant coming out of dormancy saved from last year grown in 5 gal hempy. The pegboard with 12” hangers work out really nice. I can position the boards anyway I want them.
