We’re fucked, and by we I mean people that actually have a brain :(. I’m learning it’s so true “you can’t fix stupid”.
Just remember that close to 90% of the eligible are vaxxed in Canada and that these unvaxxed and unmasked asshole are a pretty small minority. Public health policy is changing all over the place as infections and hospital numbers decrease, these assholes want to claim credit for the coming changes. My main concern with these convoy idiots is their funding model, civil war battles will be fought as disruptive "protests" and like all wars, they require money. Someone is gonna do this in the States on a massive scale, if they can get crowd funding. The public is tired of these assholes and the governments are starting to act, at least here in NS, but I guess Doug Ford is sucking their asses, since it's a big part of his base.

Shhhhh...don't tell anyone i told you this, but a Twix bar piece is smaller than the unleaded fuel nozzle hole. Plop, plop, plop, plop, sometime later seized engine, clogged tank oor fuel lines. Don't ask me how I know.
What would a glue stick do?
Asking for a friend.

Website dedicated to Doxing all companies involved with the truckers convoy. Will be sent to insurance companies, banks, and PR agencies....
Our mission is to document and shame every business that is identified as being involved in the 2022 Truckers Convoy occupation of Ottawa. This includes truckers, supporting businesses, hotels, and restaurants. By naming and tagging we hope to ensure that any future internet searches reveals the true nature of these businesses.

Doxxing the owner of a vehicle is easy here. To protect consumers, it is mandatory to provide the buyer of a used vehicle a sellers package that proves their is no lien against it. Previous owners of said vehicle are listed in the sellers package as well as the current owner's address. The package is available to anyone for $20 at the Ministry of Transportation and you'd need to provide the VIN or license plate details. Combined with a trail camera, this is how I tracked down the fucker that broke a window in my barn. :bigjoint:

That's an exceptional response, a great way to handle them.

Just think, we live around these people. Makes you proud, doesn’t it?
Why are they there again? Almost 90% of the eligible in Canada have been vaxxed. Apparently it has morphed into a "we don't like Trudeau" or "centralist" policies (state's rights), as they now search for a larger cause. The whole point is disruption, nothing more, it's how modern civil wars are fought and the opening shot was in Canada.

If they don't like Trudeau, there are elections for that and we recently had one. I don't know of any political party in Canada that differs from the government policy significantly and it's been fairly consistent across different parties. They all follow expert advice, more or less. Less than 10% of the population is NOT gonna dictate or have a veto on public health, or any other policy.

Public health policy is changing over lot's of jurisdictions, but it won't make any difference to these idiots, they will stop when the money runs out, impound fees and large fines should help with that. Most of these truckers are businesses and can be sued, people will be collecting video evidence and plate numbers.

Perhaps this all goes back to that scene in Network where the show host encourages everybody to futilely say "I'm mad as hell and not going to take it any more". Sure, get angry, but why yell out the window? What does that accomplish? Or maybe the Two Minutes Hate scenes in Orwell's 1984. It's cathartic to the ignorant who are angry over what the Ministry of Truth has made up to make them angry.

The risk is people get addicted to it. Then things like Jan 6 start happening.

Feds calling for trucker convoy protest to end, propose special meeting to plan next steps

The federal government is calling for the trucker convoy protests to end, and are proposing a special meeting with provincial and municipal governments to plan next steps, including enforcing existing provincial sanctions, as the demonstrations stretch into their second week in the nation's capital.

“These blockades and occupations need to end. Unlawful activities are not the way to offer meaningful involvement in government policy development,” said Transport Minister Omar Alghabra on Monday.

Minister of Emergency Preparedness Bill Blair said during the federal update—the first of its kind since the convoy protests kicked off—that the federal government wants to strike a “trilateral table with municipal and provincial partners.” Blair said that this table would allow the various parties responsible for managing the standoff to keep lines of communication open and respond efficiently.

Alghabra said that he will be speaking with his provincial counterpart to discuss enacting existing regulatory powers over the commercial trucking industry, including suspending commercial licenses and insurance for the owners of the equipment blockading streets for days on end.

“It’s clear, blockades of streets and bridges is against the law and should bring serious consequences for the owners,” the transport minister said.

This update comes as the pressure on the overlapping levels of government who have jurisdiction in and around Parliament Hill has been ramping up, with Ottawa residents growing increasingly frustrated as the protesters dig in on their demand for politicians to end all COVID-19 mandates.

So far, the federal government has largely taken the position that Ottawa police are the lead and would be working to meet any formal requests issued.

After a second weekend of protests and an uptick in tickets and arrests, the city of Ottawa declared a state of emergency on Sunday. As of Monday morning, trucks continue to clog streets throughout the city and organizers show no signs of packing up.

Minister of Intergovernmental Affairs Dominic LeBlanc, Treasury Board President Mona Fortier, Public Safety Minister Marco Mendicino, Ottawa-Centre MP Yasir Naqvi also took part in the press conference.

Trudeau, who tested positive for COVID-19 one week ago, is scheduled to be in “private meetings” throughout the day.
