i would put a fan but the problem is that, that would be way too bait since i'm not living alone. what im thinking is when i go to bed i should just turn the light of and leave the plant by a slightly cracked window so it gets some air. would lowes have this fox farm grow big nutes?

kimosobey you have a journal? the foil cylinder is easy. just grab a cardboard and staple or glue a tin foil on it and "roll it" no pun intended lol. I'm thinking once it grows taller ill just extend the cylinder.

foil = bad it reflects light unevenly and can create hot spots. if you need some cheap mylar those emergency blankets you can get at walmart for 2-3 bucks work great. those nutes have REAL high numbers they should work but I wouldnt use full strength one of my friends has a thread nutes on a budjet ill find it and post it here.

hey delux, i hear what your saying about the foil. But is the light strong enough to cause a hot spot bad enough to harm the plant? but ill check out those blankets for sure.

It will just reflect light unevenly and can create concentrated hot spots like dude said. Just use flat white paper and do the same thing. Flat white works better than those blankets even. Yeah and I would definately put some air on that thing. It will strengthen the stem and keep it cooler. It all depends on what you want to do with that plant. If you want to produce some good quality buds you will need a better light like a HPS or at least a bunch more cfl. Don't use Miracle grow that shit sucks and there is way better for the money than fox farm. I use advanced nutrients mother earth super tea for grow and sensi bloom a&b for budding. You can find it at hydroponic stores or order it online.

kooks good to me, Im no expert, but you may want to look into getting more airflow onto the plant. It enncourages stonger stems and speeds up the growth, not to mention temeperature control and air movement.

Also, be really careful with the nutes. Less is more!

looks pretty good so far, like everyone else said, the only things that you really need ATM, is air flow, better reflection, and better nutes, by the way "SLB" means SmokesLikeBob! haha

haha good deal my brotha, yah i defiantly would get a cpu fan in there or something. But im afraid the folks would catch onto the the whole charade. today was really warm n sunny outside, so i put the little lady outside and it got some and wind into its godess green leaves. So far she is in good shape, she could get into the ufc if she wanted to lol. But only time will show right. Anyways sorry for the rant, ill snap some pics in a few days so you can see the difference. peace out
