Shit that sucks! You'll have to dig a hole at least 3'x4' and fill it with quality soil. Find a place that has plenty of sun but not out in the open. The harder it is to get to the better. Remember that shit is gunna stink so don't put it where people are going to be coming around. Bugs can be an issue outdoors so get some bug repellant and deer repellant too. Sprinkle or spray the bug repellant all around where the plant will be. You can rearrange dead brush around your plant like a natural fence to keep animals from eating your plant but don't make it too obvious looking. Keep feeding it, there are all kinds of good nutrients out there but like I said I think you should look into Jacks Classics for what you're doing.

I know that they reconmend ur plant needs 5 hours of DIRECT sunlight a day also piss and shit around your area old hair and stuff to make animals not want to come near it. also read that feeding you dog meat and then having it shit near you plant will keep criters away. If it gets real cold at night where you are at still somethign like a 2 litre bottle over the plant will help defend it from frost. i know its best to get them used to outdoors a few days at a time but i can see this is not an option. might want to ask on the outdoor threads as I am not the best person to answere this

Okay i have some good news and a good update. So i spoke with the folks and i'm keeping the plant, and when its ready i can plant it in my yard :)

So last update was sunday april 25, and today is friday the 30th. So far its grown a bit more. Not too much more because i had to leave the light off to the plant for a while, but shes a tough sob. its starting to grow leaves from the crevices of the branches, i took a pic of it so you can see. The plant is almost 3 weeks old now, tell me what you guys think.

the plant is chillin outdoors since the weather has been nice.

if it was the soil the other plants used there arnt any nutes left in that soil the other plants ate them all which means you should of been feeding from day one. reusing soil can also be bad for other reasons you can get some cheap MG soil for like 7$. also soil from outside needs to be stearalized really isnt worth the effort to do when you can buy shit cheap. but ur baby needs food the only reason they say not to feed for first few weeks is because most soils have enough food in them to substain your plant that long but if your soil was used b4 it does not..
This is not always true. In most cases farmers do this in preperation for the next crop being planted. It's almost natures way of prepairing the soil for the next round of plants. In the spring you will see fields of mustard here that after harvesting are tilled into the soil and let set for about week or two then turned again and then plowed and they plant soy beans. The leftover roots and green tend to enrich the soil for the next crop. I do this with my soils and usually don't have to feed for the veg stage. I'll grow hot peppers in my soil indoors and then once harvested ill leave all roots and some leaves and stems and let it sit. Turn a few times and by that time the next round of seedlings are ready to be transplanted into the soil.

i have to agree with you fullduplex, i just wanted to keep my mouth shut so i don't strike up an argument. The soil i used has been properly cultivated as well, before i used it on this plant. plus i'm going to plant her in the same cultivated soil in the yard. But if there is God, He would make my plant a female.

arguments only start out of others ignorance, so dont sweat it. Like i posted in my thread let the haters hate, skip over their posts and read the advice best thing to do.

also one thing that i have noticed about your plants is the fan leaves are developing well. As they get older and as new ones grow the number of points should increase as long as she is being fed right and provided enough light. I see this here job well done.

I have pulled up a chair to this one!

thanks a lot duplex it really means a lot. i was just wandering though if i plant it in my garden, would it grow nicely without any artificial nutes? are the nutrients in the soil sufficient? or would i need to grab some over the shelf stuff. i'm also following your thread btw it seems interesting.

First off i am not telling him not to use nutes. I use them my self actually. I have the same trio that you do and love the FF line. I have had nothing but good results from them.. I was simply stating that when soil is prepared right it can go longer with out nutes. You have to listen to your plant and give it what it needs. They tell you what they need when they need it. As i stated before good growth shows progression in the fan leaves. First its one leaf then 3 then 5 and so on and so forth as it grows as long as its got the right light and food. He hasnt fed this plant nutes at all so far and he is getting this progression. So as of now hes doing great but i would recommend getting some nutes as the soil wont hold it for too much longer.

anytime man, and if you plant it in the garden it may go a little longer with out nutes but i deff would invest in some. Its kinda like a condom, i would rather have one and not worry than be in a situation and need one and not have it. Eventually the area that the plant is in will get all of its natural nutes drained by the plant and its always good to have something around to assist especially in bloom when its in overdrive.

And thanks for following mine i appreciate it

Okay well my post really ahd nothing to do with that you told him. And what your saying is right and way more helpflu then what i told him. I was just chipping in my 2 cents in response to his question about growing with out nutes. You are probably much more experienced and know much more than me about this whole growing thing. And yes his plant does look great with no food but with it its just that much better from my experience. But nute burn is not a joke. Sorry if it seems if i was trying to argue against what you said Duplex. Because i was not. Keep helping this guy and if you ever get a chance feel free to stop by and give me a hand on my first attempt.

yah i don't think it will hold out much longer in the pot. I'll grab some nutes and when its nice n big ill transplant. the tips of some of the leaves look like they are burnt or something... very very little though.ill post some pics tomorrow. thanks for the advice btw. also thought i should share that i smoked some crazy sess today, too bad you guys weren't here.

AS a medical user in cali i smoke krazy nuggs daily .. BUt dont really stress over the little things so much just when you see it try to figure what it is and try to avoid it from happening again. I used to go crazy over every little thing now i just deal with it and watch them recover, what nutes you gonna get?

i dont think thats the gr8est idea. ive heard bad things abour MG. You diont ave a hydro store around you anywhere? Google it and if not then you should pick up the fox farm trio online somewhere. I got them from my over-priced hydro store for aprox 15 bux a bottle. They work great

No worries dude at all. and everyones two cents is a great addition. Sharing experience is the best part of learning. If i came off harsh i apologize didn't mean to, and about the experienced part...im still learning and hopefully always will be. Like right now i am trying some LST on a few other plants i have in the cab at the moment, and i really would love to perfect this art. Its neat to watch the plant grow in a circle Ha
