Yeah, 9 days after i switched the lights from 24 to 12/12. Aerogarden and CFL supplemental.

The one on the left is the one in soil, right of course is the Aerogarden. (Soil = topped) (AG = Not Topped.. but look at that thing, ya think it was...)

That last pic doesn't really tell the story; here's another, same plant, vertical panel shot (lines up some of the developing bud sites)

Here's a pics I just took of the Main developing cola.(blue Mystic in AG) I either had it too close to the light or I over fed a tad.. being that the leaves are not bunt, Im confused.

Any ideas?

Here's a developing bud site on the same plant, yet lower down.

Hairs are getting Long.. up close, she wreaks of weed.. From afar, it's manageable.

(This Blue Mystic that I did not top has soooo many lush bud sites.. )

Nice pictures and plants! Doing a great job.. and as for the 'red hair' picture... I wouldn't worry about it. Tho I will say this, usually you don't see yellowing (maturation of the pistils) until around somewhere between weeks 6; week 7; or week 8... possibly even week #9 of flowering. It just all mainly depends on how long of a flowering period your particular strain requires to mature. But, you may have a early finishing strain.. that only might take like 7 to 8 weeks before its ready.. but with my Nirvana 'Ice' sisters I have going currently.. this strain is a 9 week strain.. maybe a 10 week strain.. so I shouldn't see any maturation of the pistils until around week 7 or thereabouts.

Hmmm.. that is weird. But that's the only thing I can think of.. as to why you would be seeing a red hair that early in flowering. Is that you just have a short flowering period strain possibly. Either way, I wouldn't worry too much about it... I don't see any of your ladies herming on you...

the further a plant gets into flowering.. the harder it is for it too hermie. Yeah, I wouldn't worry too much about your plant reversing its sex.. because its already far enough into the flowering period.. that it wouldn't have time to hermie. Not only that, but see the female hormones in the plant.. have already been activated and processed by the plant.. so I wouldn't worry too much about them going male on you. It's already had its peak time to go male on you.. so again don't worry about them going male.. I can almost guarantee you that they won't go male so stop worrying about that. ;)

Hope that helped and keep up the good work! I'm watching this one..

peace.

Good lookin grow! We are pretty close on our flowering dates. I started on the 5th with very little veg time. Should be fun to watch and see how much different your BM and my master kush look later in flowering. Good luck on the rest of the grow I'm sub'd.

with cfl so close 1 inch dont spray as leaves will burn due to water magnifying light bleaching effect happens
You should only spray the leaves when lights are about to be turned off, through no more than 2 hours before the lights come on again. A true green light can also be used to help work around the plants in the dark. The closer to good healthy leaf green the better. Green light won't cause light shock to plants in the dark in the few minutes it takes to do anything.

Also when dealing with CFLs, temp is not directly proportional to wattage... as I have seen 3 different CFLs of the same wattage (these were 30 watt CFLs) all put out different amounts of heat.

Looking like she just qualified for the 1980 German Olympic team. Swole. :>
This is just over 2 weeks since I changed from 24/7 to 12/12.

Soil and AG nutrients are

Botanicare Pure Blend Pro Grow & Botanicare Pure Blend Pro bloom
Distilled water, 1 Gallon per. 1tsp of nute per gallon.

AG was thoroughly flushed during veg state, but once this female and the other who's sex was unknown started to flower; roots were and still are soo tangled. I've not emptied the AG for about 1 month now. I refill it every day more or less.. The Soil get's watered every 2 days. Again, I do not thoroughly water them till they spill out, just well enough. :>
