They are looking very nice under that hps lighting. How many weeks you have left? I'm guessing 3-4 by the looks of the pics. Have you grown the PE out before? It's still my fav, although I will admit this afgan kush I have going smells amazing in a totally diff way. Smells like skunky bubblegum I love it can't wait to see how it smokes.

lol, damn man nice guess! I have exactly 3-4 weeks left on the Lacy girl and the PE. lol, The Purple Napalm went in a couple weeks later, but is much more indica dominate so we'll see when that needs to come down I guess...

I haven't ever grown out the PE before..... But let me tell you, out of the 6 different strains I have grown, I've NEVER smelt ANYTHING like this PE! Seriously, it is most definitely the best smelling strain with buds-on-plant I have ever smelt! Hands down! Honestly man, I'll go check my girls out (1 Pineapple Express, 1 Lacy girl and 2 Purple Napalm) and the only plant I can smell is the PE! And it smells so pineapply, it's insane man! lol, I want to smoke it, I want to TASTE it SO bad!

Hey hookd. i would love to make one of those bubble cloners.
Can you explain on how to go about making one.
Plants looking beautiful. Harvest is right around the corner.

Alright bro here goes:

Single site bubble cloner, what you need:

~Small, single hole container. (I used an old pop-corn curnal container, somewhere around 20oz or so)
~Swimming Noodle
~Black, or DARK colored spray paint.
~Drill with drill bit same size as air hose line
~20-60 gal airpump
~Air pump attachments (that the air get's pushed through to create the plethera of bubbles, can't think of what they're called) EDIT: "Airstones" lol

Ok so first things first. You want the container, whatever you chose to use, to be completely blackened out. So dark, that if there was a little lepracon in there he couldn't see his own hand 2 inches infront of his face. I didn't have balck spray paint at home, so I used dark blue, then wrapped the whole thing in electrical tape. Pretty much whatever you have to do to make it pich black in there, do it.

Ok now drill a couple holes in the top of that container, make sure to use a drill bit that is the SAME size as the air hose tubing stiff. So it's snug in the hole. As you can see, my air pump has 2 hoses coming off it, so I drilled 2 holes (one on each side) on the top of the container for the hoses to go through.
Stick the hoses through the holes then pull them out the top (where the clone will be) and attach your airstones to both sides, then shimmy them back in, and to the bottom of the container you are using.

Now fill with water (will tell you Hookd's 'special' cloning water mixture in a min, lol) turn the air hose on, and you should have bubbles. The ONLY down side that I've found to this cloner. Is that if your veg room is fairly hot (easier to root cuttings in warmer temps) the water in this thing goes down about every 3 days. And if you don't keep an eye on it, it will get too low, and WILL dry out and kill your cutting. So I just make sure to check mine daily.

Use whatever kind of sharp thing you have around the house to cut a piece of the swimming noodle into the correct size to fit into the top opening of the container you are using, and then make a slit half way through that (where you will put your cutting)

The water I use is mixed as fallows. I use a drop of PRIME (it just eliminates any chlorine and chloramine ect in the water), 2-3 drops of Superthrive, and about 1/10th strength bloom nutrient, all added to 1 galon of water. I use this water in my bubble cloner as well as when I clone use juffy pelets. Not to toot my own horn or anything, but I have thrown way to many clones in the trash can because I don't have room for them after rooting...

I hope all that is explained fairly well. I tried man! Lol, if you have anyquestions on any of that feel free to ask man and I'll try to explain better if I can.

I'm at work right now so can't really take a pic. But when I get off and get home, I'll try to get a pic of the entire thing from dif angles so you can see the whole bubble cloner. The reason I decided to go with a single site cloner is because I still need room in my veg box for my vegging plants. And my veg box is rather small. Like 2ft high, by 2ft wide, by 1ft deep. So this way I have a bubble cloner, room for my jiffy pelet clones, AND room for my vegging plants. It's way crowded, but it's workin! lol

Hey guys. All is going well. It's been a while since I've taken pix of the plants individually. So over the weekend I took the time to do so. They're doin pretty good. The only issue that I have. Is I found a couple nanners on my Pineapple Express. But not any other plants. And they're all growing in the exact same place. If you look at the last 3 pix you can see what I'm talkin about. Same exact growing environment for all. So I dunno.

I've never delt with nanners before, so I'm hoping someone that's taggin along has, and can give me some advice on what to do. Can my PE polinate my other girls with the nanners? Or just tiself? I found probably a total of 5 on my PE, and none on anything else. I Picked them all off. What else can I do, or should I do about this dibacle?

Here's the Pineapple Express. Don't make fun of it, I know it's ridiculously stretchy. To be completely honest with you. If it wasn't pineapple express, I would cut it down to put a different girl in there. But I want some of this smoke. So I'm just dealing with the super stretchy plant. I know this plant is ugly, no need to rub it in lol

Alright, Here's my Lacy girl. I had to upt a screen on her because all the buds were falling into the middle and rubbing on each other. So the buds were only getting partial light. FItting the screen on there, all the buds are getting light from 360 degrees now.

And here's all the girls in the flower room. Under 575w HPS.

Looking great. PE i heard is great smoke. so like you said lanky but smokable in the end.
Hps is a amazing setup. the buds should fill-in more in a week.
On lacy girl dont you think taking off those yellowish leaves should help provide for the bud contrabution. just my opinion.

Nice mini tutorial on the bubble cloner. If I ever become a competent grower I'll definitely make one. The PE is looking a bit stretchy, but it's going to be awesome even if the branches are lanky. Here's some PE I got from a dispensary in LA in case you're wondering what to expect:

Thanks for the words boys! Always appreciated! That PE looks awesome! And it makes me really excited, because I got this PE clone off a buddie, who has been growin it. And I've tirmmed his and smoked it with him and man..... I LOVE the tast of that shit! And the nugs look just like that pic! So that's awesome! Just re-assures me that it IS pineapple express! Because it smells like it, but you never know, anybody can say some type of clone is anything and you never REALLY know. But I feel like I do now.

And ya know. I've thought about trimming some of the more yellow fan leaves. But I've always read to leave them unless they pull off by hand. And that's how I've been doing it. But I've been very curious about sort of 'tactically' (for lack of a better word) trimming fan leaves for better light penetration... I need some convincing still, lol

Well I decided today that, that bubble cloner wasn't cutting it for me anymore. So..... I went ahead and made this to repalce it. Cost me a total of about $8 to make using the stuff from the other lconer. I like it!

The water proof aquerium safe sillacone is still drying. So more pix to come when she's up and running.

I actually just moved from LA to the midwest.

Cali gets fires every year and none of them have ever affected me. If you live in downtown you're pretty much safe. Baseheads are more a problem than anything, and even they usually keep to themselves.

They're actually voting to have recreational bud for anyone over 21 in CA this november. I'm planning on taking a little trip back if they do

Found nanners on my Pineapple Express. Just chopped her down, doing a half ass trim job on it right now. I didn't want to take any risk of polination on my other plants. I think it was the heat before I got things under control. None of the other plants show any signs of hermying. Kinda fuckin sucks, but still got some smoke I guess..... I've never in my life before smelt a strain that smells as good as this Pineapple Express does. Ever. Sad she had to come down early. Still got others tho.

That's wack that you had to chop her down so soon, but at least you got some smoke to keep you busy until the rest of the girls are ready. Even if she was cut early she's gonna be good. I would definitely believe the hype behind PE

I'm in love with PE, grab urself some more... maybe get seeds if ur boy has a shitty mother with lanky clones, bc typically the strain is not as stretchy. some yes, but it's also very bushy type plant, amazing for indoor.

Ya know I'm pretty sure THIS is exactly the case. Because I cloned this plant. Have it rooted. Under 130w 6500k CFL's bout 3' away form them and it's startin to stretch again like a son-of-a-bitch. So I'll see about getting some different, better genetics!.. Because like I said. I've never before smelt anything like this growing in my life. It's pungent and sweet as hell! By FAR over powers all my other strains in ym grow room!.. I love it.

And I think I stressed it before I got the HPS, and it was in my CFL setup in constant 88 or more degrees. It sucked, hot ass summer here in colorful colorado! been lovin this rain lately! I can't wait for winter, I wanna ride!

I'll get some pix of all the shitty popcorn-ness of Pineapple Express that I harvested. I'm not particularly proud of this plant. lol, super stretchy and just not such a pretty plant. But still, greatest smell ever!

Quick update for ya's!

My light went out 2 days ago, My 400w HPS (of course)
Anyways I changed out the bulb and let it sit for 36 hours. All is well now, and everything's workin. Girls are lookin great too!

My new bubble cloner is the fucking shit! These cuttings have been in there for about 8 days now I believe. Enjoy

Your clones are rooting great. Are you just using it for clones? ever think about growing hydroponicly. like 4 plants all at the 4 corners of that bin.

Also i had a minor mishap with my church today. I was in the process of tying down some branches and i went to bend one side branch and i tore the branch from the main stalk.So i took a zip tye and zippd it down to hold the split part and the main stalk back together, Its all good. i hear its gonna make it even stronger when it repairs itself but... hopefully all is good.
