'Genderless' Baby Raises a Storm of Controversy - Ppl Need to Grow Up

seriously.. controversy?!? People need to seriously grow up and act like adults instead of making fun of people. Especially a new-born baby that was born genderless! I mean its not like the poor kid CHOSE to be the way he/she is... it's just one of those things that happens from time to time. It's unfortunate.. but that doesn't mean people should stir up a bunch of bs about the whole issue.

I wonder how these people would feel if someone in their family was born genderless.. and had all kinds of people attacking and poking fun of their family member??!?! I would almost bet ya they wouldn't appreciate it. In fact, I bet it would piss most of them off.

This is just ONE of the many things that's wrong with today's society. Until we learn to accept each other for who we are on the inside, instead of immediately judging people by the way the look on the outside.. I'm afraid society won't change.. in fact I believe the problem will just get worse and worse until someone does something about it.

Anyhow, for anyone around here that might be poking fun at other people.. or making fun of other people.. stop and think how you would feel if someone was treating you the same way your treating that person.. just something to consider and think about.

I've taken 3 years of psychology and I learned in those three years that 99% of the time.. the people that make fun of other people.. no matter what might be wrong with the person they're making fun of.. generally the person making fun of other people (the bully), generally that person has personal issues in their own life.. that they haven't gotten over. Also, people that bully other people.. generally have very low self-esteem for themselves and like I said.. they generally aren't happy with their own lives.. whatever the cause.

So to anyone around here that might be getting bullied.. just remember.. the bullies are the weak ones. ;)

peace and love to all of ya's!
- P.S. - Have a GREAT Memorial Day weekend! Be safe though.

You have to read the article. They're raising it that way, it actually was born with a gender. (Looks like a boy to me.) What they're doing is retarded, because gender is just for determining what role you would take if you chose to breed to old fashioned way. You're either an egg carrier or a sperm donor. If you were born hermie, chances are you still lean more one way than the other, having one set of organs with more development. I'm all for not pushing people into little molds that society creates for them based on what they have in their pants, but it's really ridiculous to make life any harder for the kid than it already is going to be. The choices they've made for him or her should be made by him or her when he or she is old enough to decide.

I think it's fucked up to raise a child like some fucking lab experiment. There is no such thing as "genderless". That poor kid isn't going to be living in an isolated environment and will suffer greatly from the stupid choices his parents make. He/She has to go to school and interact with other people. It's going to be an extreme hardship growing up like that.

Wait until the poor kid tries to find a unisex bathroom at school.
