Irish you should totally get some light movers and use them. I really want to see how well they can handle it, because this is how I think shops could mass produce their own without spending twice as much on fixed lights.
ill have to try to find mine i have somewhere around here. we will see whats up with one maybe this grow or another one. kinda want to do it from the get go if i do

ya that's why i dont mix strains anymore. i stick to just one strain pre grow and have better results allot of times because canopy is more even. ive had the same issue in the past and sometimes when a strain takes like 2-3 weeks longer now ur just waiting on dead time when u could be 2-3 weeks in veg on ur next grow. just nice with things more even and finishing at the same time on the same feeding.. ect..
Yea, I feel ya on that. I'm trying to get 2-3 strains that grow similar so I have a variety but some standardization.

The unknown purp strain is on trial but looks like it is going to be a keeper. The Big Band and White Domina are on trial too. I don't think I'm going to hang onto to the White Domina because although it grows into a nice straight spike, it is a little more sensitive than the others. I have some Utopia Haze and Red Dragon beans that I'm probably going to pop after I get my next batch of clones in there.

ya know dude, GLH states that the spectra panels operate in temps up to 104F.... I guess that is just one more stat that Mike under rates on his panels. That is the best thing i like about GLH, every statistic I read online was better than expected.

hey irish its good to see your still up posting and growing with LED's.
Ive actually been researching all of your other grow journals on another weedsite, and i was happy and thankful that someone took the time and had the patience to prove that these lights do work. So i wanted to say THANK YOU BRO!!!!!!!
By the time i finished researching the other journals i was actually sad to find out that you werent posting anymore on that website, but then i discovered this site and i noticed you started a new journal here...so i joined the website and im joining this thread AND im joining the LED revolution hahah
goodluck man!

still working at the leds and trying to test out these new models and see how they treat me? not sure if i will truly find out this grow because of the crazy summer temps but i tend on finding out how they work compared to my older 2010 model grows.

I cant believe how much BS there is today in the world, none the less thats good to know, i dont plan on going there anymore. And plus the only reason why im on these sites is so i can follow up on your new stuff and see how its all treating you. So its good to actually be talking to you my friend  thanks for the reply.

i intend to get the spectra 500w when the time (and money) comes haha they are a big chip from the wallet. It wont be for a while though....i actually had my eye on those blackstars the seller seems chill and honest but i know you have heard that they dont actually pull what they say they pull (or something like that) so im skeptical but they are the only thing in my price range right now. anyways sorry for the paragraph haha i know you have ladies to tend too.
happy growing irishboy :bigjoint:

ya they dont use what their called, i know that. but they seem like legit lights for smaller grow areas since they use 60 degree led angles

I think i should spread them apart a little more... it really shows up in the photo more than in real eye. I didn't really notice it till you mentioned it.

looks great to me. ya always try to raise the smaller girls to a even canopy. it helps allot

from the pic those 2 180's look like they really cover that 4x4 area real nice. is they any shading in that area that we cant see in the pics?

look how much better it looks now.

It does look much better now!!! there really isn't any shade that is apparent. it seems to be bright color all the way down to the soil!!!

thanks again for the tip.... you made my girls happier!!!

how are your temps doing? did ya see any flowering yet?

temps are getting a little cooler like in the 100F.lol. so times its in the low 90's. they have little hairs here and their but nothing special for the time their at. hoping the 10/14 will do the trick?

Yo snapped a few more. I love these lights. I've never had girls look this healthy all the way through. The trichromes coming through already is fucking awesome. The LSD is finally starting to catch up. I think the slow start on the laggers may be due to me FIMing them.

Also, moving the light up a little definitely helped. I just pulled them up a couple of inches again after I took these pics. I have a little bleaching on one LSD girl but she isn't even the tallest one.

I'm glad I don't have heat issues like you. I have an a/c that's cranking the whole time but it keeps it no hotter than 88 and usually there is a 15 degree difference between the coolest and hottest temps of the day.

are those ropes there to hold the panels on an angle? or are they there for extra safety?

They're there to move the light up. The cords the light came with are too long but they're still attached for safety reasons.

Edit: I have little vertical room to move my lights up. They're hanging from an eyehook in a 2x4 that is as high up as you can get in my shed.
