Man, this kinda kills my buzz. Neer was being cool the whole time. I want a time machine.
No worries. I am doing my best to disagree with your take on the topic while not attacking anyone's person. cnIf you break down my kind-of-but-not-really insults, I'm sure you would agree. You confronted me before I confronted you. This is true. The problem is that I took your confrontation the wrong way.
Restore, dude. No harm no foul. cnMan, this kinda kills my buzz. Neer was being cool the whole time. I want a time machine.
IMO the dog and human are both on the street. They both have conscious minds and they are both struggling. Now the human may want the dog, but the dog needs to survive. Don't get me wrong, I feel bad for the homeless man, but that's not what this is about. If you guys made a thread about saving a homeless guy, I'd cheer it on. For now, I'm just cheering on the fact that at least one of them was saved from the struggling lifestyle. And I don't appreciate it when these other members call h8 a thief and a liar when he only did a good deed. The part I keep trying to point out "is not cool" is placing the rights of the human behind the needs of the dog. That is my opinion, of course, but a strongly-held one. The welfare of the dog is only part of the story here, and the other part that interests me greatly receives short shrift from you.
The business with the balls and vaginas is a matter of decorum ... I'm not seeking to be personally starchy about it, but i do think that it doesn't help the tenor of the debate, but gets in the way. Again, my opinion. cn
OK then, back to the meat* of our dissent.IMO the dog and human are both on the street. They both have conscious minds and they are both struggling. And even if he didn't do a good deed, he had damn good intentions. But people would rather insult him than say good job or something.
I guess it is a little pointless to mention vaginas and balls in a debate.. So that'll end between me and you. Everybody else gets no mercy though.
lolNone. He's in the crowds because he's too much of a puss to get in the ring.
converstation might as well be religion or politicsOK then, back to the meat* of our dissent.
You posit that srh88 did a good deed. I'm not convinced, since the desire of the homeless guy was (imo) given not enough weight.
Also, I do not put the needs and wants of the two lives here on an even basis. One is a dog; the other a human. I automatically accord the human priority.
I am a bit mystified when I encounter "the dog comes first" as a morally tenable starting point.
So that is where we seem to disagree, and I won't belabor the point, since we won't either of us win the other over to our way of thinking. Will this do? cn
*I am quite pleased with myself ... I typed this without giggling.

And I disagree with you because in this situation the dog had the chance at a better life and needed it to survive (going by h8's description), but the human only wanted something. Needs come before wants no matter if it's between a human or another animal.OK then, back to the meat* of our dissent.
