That would require a budget, something he has NEVER had.

FYI The budget would use projected military savings to help pay for a six-year, $476 billion program to modernize the nation’s transportation network.

That means no ACTUAL savings, since any money you save is going to be spent elsewhere. I am not so sure we don't already have a modern transportation network. Unless by that he means trains that no one will use.

My sister-in-law was a housewife. She had a few jobs before she met and married my brother. He died of a massive heart attack. We scrambled to get her on disability. Meanwhile their home was foreclosed on and they had to move out. No income whatsoever. We split the kids up. I have one nephew living here and an older one that I take back and forth to a neighboring state where he lives with a relative and works there. I bring him home each weekend to spend time with his mother. She has MS and is wheelchair bound. Now she gets the 400 dollars and most of that goes to treatment and medication.

If he would have bought life insurance, none of this would happen. There was a simple private solution to all your sisters problems. Yet you look to the government to provide a bailout.

I used to work for an advocacy firm part time a few years ago after helping my crippled mother get through all this bureaucratic red tape. Funnies thing is that they used my Fathers earnings and wages to come up with the amount she would get. Carne's family member wasn't really married I am guessing. Either that or its all just for giggles.

Same with my mom,she did not really work and took care of the kids.
When my dad died she got his ss and his military payments,plus got medicare and all that stuff under his name.So it does sound funny that lady only gets $400.
