Also her stem had about an extra inch on it which i covered in soil so she could grow more roots, I was reading that someones thread... so from my initial pics she has about an extra inch on her stem under soil

YES, that is why I said an eighth or 3.5 grams. Some people do not used eighth in measurement i.e. people in Europe.
And yes, my buddy at 18 yrs old living in his mother's basement grew a plant out under a few large twister bulbs, and all he got was an eighth of leaf and spindle. What I'm saying is it is not much fun when harvest time comes, at all.
And no you're right you are not a newbie/rookie/beginner without actual growing experience. You're just somebody that has read up on a topic.
It is kind of like someone saying "I'm not a virgin, I read all about having sex. I know all the moves, so i'm not technically a virgin."
After your first harvest successful or not, you could then at least say you're someone that has grown to fruition.
Again it is like people that buy a guitar and played it once or twice and then never again. But if you ask them if they play guitar, they will say "yeah, every now and then", but they don't really play guitar.
Many people start a seed or get a clone, things go bad and that is the last time they try that. So to anyone that says I'm not a complete beginner because he/she read up on it before they attempted it.

PS. to whoever is suggesting 65w cfl. 2 x 65=130, Why not just get an 150w hps and actually get a yield. If your using 4x65w cfl's then yo could be running a 250w hps and actually getting 4-5 oz. But yeah low budget, means low budget buds, buddy. LED's, hid's or the sun.

I guess that is a matter of opinion.^^^^
If you just walk up and find some weak buds, cool; but if you waste more time and money than the end product is worth, well that is just dumb all around, no logic behind that train of thought. That's all I saying.
Plus, wouldn't that be some dumb shit to get busted over one plant under cfl's?

Anyways on that note, I know its early but I transplanted my baby into a 3gallon pot. Hope she doesn't stress too much at only 5days old. I will upload some pics tm or so when I am not soo lazy.

Lol I see, and understand what you mean. Then by all my powers as a newb I will Grow on, And I will strive for more than 14g.. 14-28. and that is in the assumption that I dont add any extra lights. #OPANEWBIESTYLE!!!! XD

Slow down! She is way too small right now for a bigger pot. Watering is going to be a bitch to balance for a while.
CFLs can get you some nice bud and nice yield. But you will need alot of light. I too have the story of my first plants under not enough light that generated an eighth!
Wth CFL, you need to be able to raise and lower them, especially in flower, to keep the light as fucking close to the canopy as possible. The way you are set up right now, especially without tons of light to prevent stretch, that plant is going to grow into the light way before harvest.
Do you have a plan on height? She will get tall in flower!
You will wants some air circulating in there or else she will be weak and may fall over.
How do you plan to control odor or is that not a concern?
I love the DIY energy! But also listen to experience. First grow is a learning experience and if yields little, no harm. My first one got me interested and now I am weed self sufficient and comfortable in my shoes on my fourth grow. Nonetheless, trust me and others that when you get done with this one, you will have become more concerned with results then you are now, and you willbe saying that you should have invested some more to do it better.
Mylar emergency blanket in the camping section at WalMart cost like two dollars and you will be better off than foil. Rig all your lights from the top in a way that can be raised and lowered. Buy a small $5 fan to get some air moving in there.

Thanks DAD! This is the type of stuff I like to hear!
Okay I know results matter of course, just due to time space and money, this will be more of a learning process for me. I would love to let this thing grow out to its full potential and have 8 45w cfl and lst and scrog and veg for about 3 months and then put her into flower. But simply put I will not be able to do that with MILEY. So what I will do is see if I can grow her out under minimal condition, learn how she reacts towards watering and lighting. How much she stretches and everything. I have four more seeds that I just wouldn't have the space for right now.
I am strongly considering giving her about another week of 24/0 (which she has been doing very well as of right now I think.)
Then maybe switch into 12/12 on out and just see what happens.
or maybe do an 18/6 for about a week and then 12/12 out.
I am undecided because like I said space IS an issue for me right now.
Thankfully I have a low odor plant. Most forums I read about people who have grown her say she doesn't smell unless you are literally moving her branches and it's only a light odor.
but soon after you cure her she will smell dee-licious!
Any how am I missing anything.
Oh and yes I already transplanted, I figured she was kind of small but already had a nice little root system going along. (Miracle grow must be doing something right)
and I do have a small fan pushing air through the box.

Or is it the plus sign with quotations on the bottom right next to reply ? i thought it was a heart symbol on these boards... Your bulb is fine for the seedling but are you gonna really flower with just the one bulb still ? Dispell the myth of 1 gram per watt fluro ?

Hey, Like is right on top of the bubble with the plus, at least on my laptop. Haven't tried going on here via mobile yet. I did throw another 13w 2700k in their though. So we will see how it turns out. I will try and have another light or two in there by the time she's finished.
